It's a God send that they spay and neuter at such a affordable price. I have a farm and tend to get…read morestray cats especially. I took the most recent to get her vaccinations which I was told were included in the exam. $161.00 later and then she had to go back for boosters which was another $82.00, then the spaying was another $150.00. thank goodness I was able to get her into Precious Paws. I didn't ask for the cat, but due to her being dropped off, I had to take care of her. Much more affordable at Precious Paws and also the staff is very nice

I can't tell you much about the animal rescue part, except that it's where we got our super senior…read moredog, but the spay and neuter services, and the veterinary services are top notch. Dr. Waitz is excellent, and has spent quite a bit of time with us each time we've gone in. The spay and neuter services are a godsend to us because we have been the unwilling recipients of three dumped, pregnant cats. Thirteen cats now. All spays - one neuter. Please bear in mind, before you criticize too severely, that every single rescue is overcrowded and probably underfunded. Precious Paws even has cats in their bathroom because they are bursting at the seams with unwanted pets. No wonder Julie is snappish about people going to breeders. I would be, too. These cats are medicated, fed and sheltered on a pathetically small budget, and the unwanted dogs are sheltered by people who are kind enough to take them in. Be kind. And donate. And adopt. And ask what you can do rather than being critical.

Many vets are the cause of your pet being sickly) So I give this vet 10 stars- for effort, if nothing else. Secondly, because of the older ladies working behind the desk: unprofessional, unfriendly, didn't respond to my questions, or even look up to make eye contact, I will never recommend, nor will I return to this facility. I have never seen two more horrendously rude desk help anywhere like these two. I was actually wanting to rate them with 2 big, fat zeros. If the vet could get descent help, other than tweedle dee and tweedle dum, I believe this clinic could thrive. Lastly, since the vet is compassionate, the only honest thing I could do if find middle ground and give 3 stars, overall. The end. I, personally, will never bring another animal here again.

I have referred several friends to him as well and procedures that would of cost thousands of dollars here in the city are a fraction of the cost at this practice. Everyone at the practice is like family and super friendly and knowledgeable!I would recommend them to anyone!

I've been a loyal customer with Franklin Animal Clinic (Franklin, PA) for decades. I enjoy the vets, I've had minimal problems, and care was mostly on-par with expectations. When my Saint Bernard, Bernie, was in the midst of failing this week, a call was made to alert them that Bernie was on his way, was in severe pain, unable to walk, difficulty breathing, really struggling, and we needed to see someone immediately. We had an arrival time of 12:40 pm however, we were told that they were "closed for lunch until 1:00 pm" and even worse, they couldn't see him until 1:40. Now, I don't know about you but what has happened to compassion and sensitivity in this world? You have a dying dog in your parking lot and the response is "Wait until our lunch is over?" Bernie died in the back of my vehicle in their parking lot that day. He never made it in to see a vet for either a diagnosis or to be humanly euthanized. I'm a huge advocate of promoting local business but for this to happen, I'm disheartened. I'm going to turn commenting off on this post because this is strictly for informational purposes. I wanted to put this out there for you to form your own opinion on this facility based on this experience. Our pets are so important to us and to know that my Bernie died in the parking lot waiting for a vet is unacceptable. I'm heartbroken it ended like this but, at minimum, I'm glad Bernie was surrounded by his family, getting belly scratches as he took his last breath.

They also responded quickly the next weekend when Mama ate a small chocolate donut while nursing the brand new pups as well. I can't say enough positive things about the care our dogs have received there and how much the staff loves on them every time they come in!

Dr Sarah has called periodically to check on Bear. She has given me sound advice when I've called about flea /ticket prevention & when he's not feeling well. I am so thankful for this office. Dr. Robertson has taken a call from me, listened to my concerns, asked if he could check with his wife Dr. Sarah since she is Bear's Dr. & He hasn't seen Bear. He said he'd return my call - and he did! The Vet Techs & people at reception desk are so pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. During Covid 19, all happily come to my car after I call upon arrival. Great care has been taken to keep everyone safe. Rated 5 stars - would give 10 if I could. Thank you, Dr. PIERSON, Dr. ROBERTSON & staff.
