I have been seeing Brian Petersen for the last two years consistently. Initially I had some…read morechronic lower back pain that he was able to resolve in a few months which finally gave me my life back. Then I stopped my care for a good 6-8 months or so thinking I did not need maintenance Big mistake! I slipped back into old habits and postures that resulted in developing a painful psoas issue that seriously inhibited my ability to walk. Thankfully with much care, Dr. Petersen has reversed that problem and I am happy to say I am now walking, sleeping and living pain free. Some reviews I have read criticize Dr. Petersen's time spent with his patients. I imagine that some might be put off by the fact that his adjustments are quick, like 5-10 minute tops, and may feel they are not getting their monies worth. That said, in my opinion, it is not about the amount of time he works on you in a session, but rather what he does to manipulate the spine or bones to relieve pressure points, pinched nerves and so on to bring relief and ultimately... correction. Anyone who expects instant results from care, is just being ridiculous. For me, it took months...perhaps years of neglect to get my back out of shape to begin with. My healing did not happen overnight, and many of my chiropractic adjustments often hurt. I was frustrated with my health, frustrated with Dr. Petersen, and many times I questioned whether his care was the right approach for my situation. At the end of the day though I resolved that it is pretty the nature of the healing process, and yes, Brian knew exactly what he was doing. Another major factor for me was the cost of his care. Unfortunately, my insurance only covered 10 visits and with a co-payment. My care quickly used up my "allotted insurance" visits, which put me in a position of paying out of pocket for anything more. Thankfully his office offers a family plan which accommodated my needs at an affordable cost and unlimited care. This was perfect and did not break the bank. So, I guess anyone in a similar situation should probably ask themselves, what is their health and quality of life worth? It took me a while to figure it out, but I am so glad that I made the call and would not go back on that decision for a minute. Time...life...it's just too damn short to be in chronic pain. On a super positive note, he takes walks ins (which is all I ever do). This has allowed me to see him when it works for me, rather than making an apt. only to miss it or be late and get charged anyways like some doctors do. I am grateful for this flexibility and convenience. Lastly, all I can say is that Dr. Petersen really does care about your health and will work with you to help you get your desired results. Bottom line, I recommend this chiropractor. If you see him, you won't be sorry.

Yeah, I really don't believe in the whole "you need to come in every few days for the rest of your life, and subluxations will kill you" I believe that if I have a crick in my neck or if something is hurting I need to see someone, if it isn't fixed then maybe there is something wrong with the "fixin" process. Well, Dr. Morgan, isn't like anyone I've ever been to, FIRST, she came out and said that after three visits for the same thing if she hasn't fixed me, she'll refer me out. Second, I work crazy hours and she is willing to work around them and find a time that works for me and her to make sure I can be seen when I do need it. Also, she adjusts way differently from how I have ever been adjusted, it's not a 10 minute jump on you crack crack crack adjustment, she'll crack you but it's by you using your muscle manipulation and getting the nerves involved, it's intense, and you'll feel it. She takes my insurance and she's easy to talk to. Not your typical chiro office or practice, but I feel at home here, even with the Cross-Fit gym shouting next door.
