I was impressed by the technical ability of the nurse/lab tech who was awsome. I also want to mention his dedicated office staff who treat his patients with respect and courtesy. He dose not mince words, he tells you what you need to hear so you can move forward with your treatment the safest way possible. The front staff are the greatest, they were very reassuring and answered EVERY one of my questions no matter how silly or anxious i was to ask them. they walked us through what was happening every step of the way. Angela, Laura have done what they do for some time now, they are very thorough and keep you well informed when they communicate with you. I wish i could remember the names of the other medical aides in the office and give them their well deserved credit. Even the person collecting blood work was amazing. my wife has always had problems giving blood, most techs usually have issues finding a suitable vein and yet this amazing woman was able to draw her blood on the first attempt with out even so much as a wince of pain. "we were lucky to find these people" I keep telling my wife. its a scary process realizing you have RA, but these folks made us feel more at ease with their expertise

He had left New York to practice medicine in a beautiful area of Florida, however, quite sadly he developed serious medical problems that will now forever prohibit him to administer that stellar service that I was a privy to for over a decade. I am very sad to relay this news, but I just loved him and wanted to share this information, in case anyone was wondering what happened to him. Thank you for your many years of keeping me mobile.

During my meetings with him, Dr. Taverni caused me to take an immediate defensive position due to an irrelevant, inappropriate and judgmental line of questioning that served no purpose other than to satiate his own curiosity of who he (quite inaccurately) believed me to be, seemingly based on nothing more than my appearance. Dr. Taverni has obvious social/emotional issues that I'm convinced are directed only towards certain types of people. I'd hate to think he treats all his patients this horribly yet somehow manages to keep his job.

Oh and then there are patients that are traveling out of the country that come in for shots and pay cash they will be seen immediately. I even ended up in the ER after his office visit because despite knowing that I have certain health issues, he told me to take something to cure one symptom that would lead to absolute pain for the other health issue. When I called to tell him what was going on, he kept saying I highly doubt that it was what I told you to take, even though there are hundreds of other people that have reported having the same problem I had. He also charged me up the behind - literally, because he told me I needed to do a colonoscopy that him and his staff told me I wouldn't be billed separately for, but ended up getting 3 additional bills for. When I tried to speak with his Office Manager, Margret, she was completely rude and unemphatic, unapologetic, quoting billing codes and procedure, as opposed to listening and understanding that I asked 3 staff members if I would be billed for the colonoscopy separately from the office visit - who all said I wouldn't - but she didn't care! When I went to his follow up appointment, which he's going to also bill me for (5 bills now and counting) he spent 5 minutes with me to say, your test results were fine, you are OK, goodbye. Really? Don't bother with this doctor or his practice's offices. We pay so much money for healthcare, it should be worth it.
