Not only did Deirdre use some of the best brands (murad, PCA, dermalogica), but she talked me through each step as she was putting masks/cleaners on my skin. I purchased a Plum District deal for eyelash extensions and called today to make an appointment for a few weeks from now, right before my wedding. The man who answered the phone, who also sounded like he owned the business, told me very rudely that he's "not doing those deals anymore" even though my coupon was nowhere near expired. When I asked why he said it was because he was breaking off from Harmony Beauty Spa. I said that didn't he have an obligation to honor previously purchased deals and he said "no, I'm not doing that." He offered no apologies or guidance on how to potentially get my money back, and instead was just a total jerk and kind of ruined my morning. The real kicker is that, after a couple of minutes on the phone where it was clear he was not going to be any help, I told him I would be writing him a negative Yelp review, to which he said "I don't care, I'll just pay to take it off." WOW. Clearly no concern whatsoever for customer service. Yelp, if this review is removed or "hidden," I will be shocked, appalled, and mostly totally pissed. Don't play your supporters like that. This business does not care about its customers and is absolutely not worth supporting.

BUT, my lashes were all gone within 2 weeks and the lady was so busy she couldn't refill. So I found Harmony on a Groupon instant deal and let me tell you... AMAZING. It took Vicky less than an hour to give me totally natural (but natural in that was that's blessed natural...like you hate the girl who naturally has lashes like these), thick, beautiful lashes. And, unlike the place I went before, I didn't have any stinging, no eye lashes poking into my eye ball, and when I woke up the next morning, there were 0 fallen soldiers on my pillow case. Honestly, I can't stop recommending this place. It such a good deal and the quality is so good. And I sleep on my stomach, with my face plowed into my pillow like I'm trying to eat it.... but my lashes still look good. Go go go!

Best decision EVER I…read moream SO happy I went to Hallie to have my brows done and I'm embarrassed I didn't post a review sooner . I was referred to Hallie to have my brows touched up a year after I initially had them done. Since I had never been tattooed, I didn't know how my skin or the pigment would take so a touch up was needed. Hallie really took time to understand what I wanted from my brows and also study how the pigments developed with my skin type and tone. She did an amazing job filling my brows in, correcting the shape where they had faded, and selecting the right pigment blend to match my hair. Six months later and my brows still look amazing and have settled in beautifully. I'm super happy with Hallie's artistry and will not hesitate to come back. I would HIGHLY recommend Hallie if you're considering getting permanent make up.

I booked a microblade touch up with Hallie (she was not the original person that did my initial…read moremicroblading), but wanted to give her a try. She told me she didn't have a shop anymore but was willing to come to my house. I paid the $100 deposit at the time of booking. Appointment was specifically scheduled for 5:30pm after work; I also remember this because I even warned her about potential rush hour traffic at that time. I was surprised when she called me the morning of the appointment to tell me she was on her way, and I reminded her I was at work and appt isn't until 5:30pm. She said no problem I'll see you then. A couple of hours before my appointment, Hallie texted me saying her car isn't working and needs to reschedule. I was understanding and provided several alternative dates and times the following week. When I didn't hear back by that weekend, I followed up and even offered to travel to her in Oakland to make it easier on her, and let her know I was really trying to keep my touch up appointment within the 6-8 week recommended timeframe so my brows wouldn't fade too much before touch up. She said she'd get right back to me, but never did. One week after my initial booked appt, I kindly asked for my deposit to be refunded since the service had not been provided and she seemed like she was going through a lot and couldn't get back to me about rebooking. She said she would send it. 24 hours later I let her know I still never received it and asked when she'd send it. She refused to provide a timeframe and was short with me. It has now been approximately one month and I still haven't received my $100 deposit back. I understand that unexpected circumstances happen, but the lack of communication, failure to reschedule, and failure to return a deposit for a service that was never provided are extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Proceed with caution.
