We started using Nelles Insurance about a year ago. Dave was able to lower our fleet auto rates by almost half of that of a national carrier. Dave also handles our liability, workers comp and health insurance. Dave is easy to work with and takes that time needed to explain your insurance and also be there when you need a LOCAL person to help you when it. read more

I switched to Nelles Insurance a few years ago after my rates went up on my previous policies. Dave explains insurance in easy to understand terms, lays out your options and helps you make an informed decision. I ended up moving my auto and home owners insurance to carriers Dave recommended and saved several hundred dollars that first year. We later also took out a term life insurance policy under his guidance. Dave is always available to answer questions or troubleshoot problems, and I happily give his name to my home buying clients. I have also had occasions with home buyers where a quote was needed, and Dave has always been quick to provide everything we need in short order. He values the relationships he has with his clients, and works hard to provide the best service possible. I'm always happy to have the opportunity to give out his name... read more

David Nelles is the definition of customer service. I was trying to buy insurance for the first time and he actually helped me understand it! I will admit I am completely naive when it comes to these things and he could have totally taken advantage of that, but he didn't. He even told me it was best to just stay on my parent's insurance. I would rely on him time and time again for my insurance. He was available when I needed him and so friendly through out the whole process. His patience is outstanding. I really do hope that people make him their first choice when they are considering any type of insurance. He's your guy! read more

I have nothing but positive to say about Dave Nelles and Nelles Insurance Solutions. We began using Nelles Insurance in 2010 when relocating to Lynchburg. We have Home, Auto, Disability and Life insurances through Dave. He also assisted us in establishing a new health insurance policy, resulting is a savings of hundreds of dollars each year. Dave is informative, patient and, most important, caring and involved with his clients. He is responsive, always calling back as soon as possible, whether to address a concern/claim, or simply answer a question. After a recent auto breakdown, he even follow-up the next day to ensure all was resolved and we were safe. We have never been disappointed and are confident that Dave is helping us to make the right decisions for our family's needs. I do not hesitate to give his name when asked for an insurance referral. read more

Nelles Insurance is the best service in P&C Insurance that I've ever dealt with. Erie is a great insurance company, highly rated, very sound financially, and I'm a big supporter of working with a truly local agent. Especially if you've been with a large national insurance company (statefarm, nationwide, allstate) for more than a few years, you're probably gunna save big bucks with Nelles Insurance Solutions. I was on his billboard on Fort Ave, you might have seen that he saved me $500 a year on auto insurance! I can't speak enough of how much I appreciate Dave as my insurance agent. He saved me $500 a month on auto and home owners AND added a person umbrella policy of $1 million. I can't say enough good things, there aren't enough stars to rate Nelles Insurance Solutions. It isn't just about saving money, Dave is the local business owner that knows Lynchburg, he's stepped out to be a source of service, value, and advice to our community. You can't beat Nelles Insurance! read more

I've known Dave Nelles for many years but only in the last couple of years has he become our insurance agent. We were not looking to change insurance companies when Dave offered to give us a quote. Imagine our surprise when we found out that by switching to Erie that we could save almost a THOUSAND dollars a year! Not only that, we actually got MORE coverage for LESS money. But the best part is having an agent that we know personally and that knows us personally as well. We refer all our friends to Nelles Insurance now and have complete confidence that Dave will do for them what he did for us. read more
