This nice little place is located within the Emporium so a great spot to grab a bowl if shopping or out for a morning stroll in the Park area. Don't plan for quick service though. There's always a line but that's a sign of a good spot. There's no place to sit and enjoy your food so plan to walk and eat. I've tried a few different bowls and have never been disappointed. read more

Usually always a great experience but this morning was everything but that. 3 employees who you could obviously tell did not want to be there. No smiles, no welcoming gestures. Didn't have any rolls or pastries by 8:45. Then after we ordered one we had to go up to the counter after they came out of the oven to ask about ours to learn that they don't even have the kind that the guy said they have. Not a good experience. read more

All around AMAZING - will be coming back again & suggested to the entire family. I loved their options of drinks, they had some amazing looking smoothies & juices. The coffee was splendid & Caffeinated a TON. Absolutely in love with our experience, We were in & out swiftly & the service was extremely friendly. Answering all the questions regarding the menus & so forth - the interior is beautiful & if you want a slow morning on the patio this is where you should be! We visited twice during our stay because of how great our experiences were. read more

Family owned business, amazing customer service and even better food great place to get more coffee and food. And the night time is awesome too with their wide variety of cocktails and drinks and small bites. read more

Excellent fresh juices, smoothie bowls, healthy toasts and yummy breakfast cookies. Our group had the veggie toast (cucumber, radish, avocado), scrambled egg toast, beet juice with lemon, the oat nut butter and jam breakfast cookie (awesome), and a cocoa bowl which was loaded with homemade gluten-free granola. Everything was great, homemade tasting, and we will be going back. read more

Nektar - a man sitting at a table in a restaurant - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Arnolds Park, Iowa

Looking for tasty and refreshing breakfast/brunch then look no further. The smoothie bowls are delightful. The Moon Milk also so amazing. Staff were patient and friendly, we will be coming back again. read more

Cute urban/rustic styled of coffee shop. Minimal inside seating, very loud from all the blenders going, and the layout could be a bit more functional. I was greeted with pretty cold looks from everyone on staff and had to really be extra kind to them for an employee to say much in return (I don't expect them to be super bubbly but they looked like they hated their job). Ordered the veggie toast which tasted good, but said it would have micro greens on top and it was just arugula. If that's the regular topping, I think the menu needs to disclose that. Also ordered an iced dirty chai and that was VERY tasty. Overall wasn't super impressed with the service and especially for the price point I would not go again. I spent about $15 before tip on just a veggie toast and a coffee/tea. read more

Lattes were good and the place was adorable. I would love to sit and study/hang out some time and try some of their other offerings.

Possibly the worst coffee I've been served. Tasted like you'd imagine a ashtray would taste if you licked it. Staff was pleasant. Nice seating on a patio or indoors.... The treats looked good. read more

Been here a couple times; coffee, food, and ambiance is great. The free games make it a great hang out spot. Last time I was there, the chef even gave us free bacon wrapped dates because he accidentally made too many! It's too bad a poor experience with a rude bartender ruined this place as a night spot for me. Would recommend for breakfast/lunch. read more

Best drip coffee in Okoboji! I love the smoothie bowls. Everything is so fresh and tasty. If you need a quick fix of great food and drink don't go anywhere else. read more

Nektar - Food trailer with high quality food and drink. Perfect morning spot!!! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Arnolds Park, Iowa

Asked for a coffee, he didn't wanted to serve the. Rude bartender, never coming back.

Nektar has the most incredible food. Every time I have ordered it has came out perfect. The girls that work in there are so hard working and every time I come in I am greeted with a smile and a good morning. The aesthetic of the whole place is so relaxing and calm. read more

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon to grab some lunch. There was one other customer in there. The lady working behind the counter ignored us for over 10 minutes, before coming over and not asking how she could help us, just by staring at us until we asked if we could get some menus. We ordered paninis that were horribly dry, and a smoothie that she refused to substitute any of the ingredients. Another couple walked in and she did the same thing to them and they ended up walking out stating they would NEVER come back. It's very sad that the help was so RUDE, because the inside is very cozy and pleasant. I was told the lady working is one of the owners, very sad she is running off business, but we won't be back either after our first experience. read more

This place was EXACTLY what we wanted this afternoon. Delicious and reasonably priced smoothie bowls and super friendly staff. We're from Portland, so we know a good health food food cart when we see one, and this is it. With no authority at all, I'll take it upon myself to name this the hidden gem of Okoboji. Will absolutely come back if we ever happen to find ourselves in Northern Iowa again! read more

First time visiting the new permanent location. Really attractive interior. The young lady who took my order (matcha green tea latte, hot) is who I remember from food truck. No customer service, whatsoever, still! She greets no one. Waits for customer to speak to her. Hoards of people walked in while I waited for my drink and she said nothing to them. Regulars that walked in knew to head to the register to order and passed by many who were clearly new and didn't know where to order or what to do because this server said nothing to them. Not even "welcome" or "good morning", let alone, "I can help whoever is next". My latte was not hot, but warm at best. This business could sure use better customer service training!!! read more

Great cold brew coffee and service. Went late season and they were open at 7:30am on a sunday(!) this is the spot!

Love the chia tea and smoothie bowls, when they actually make it correctly.. Several times now I have ordered a smoothie bliss bowl only to receive a smoothie bowl. Won't even try asking to have it corrected. The energy of the staff is terrible. I work a stones throw away so I'm there 3+ times a week and 95% of the time I'm welcomed with a RBF. To the point I'm just Going to make my own bowls read more

Excellent coffee here! They have quite an eclectic menu so if your not into that this might not be the place for you. Despite that, any true coffee snob would enjoy their coffees. read more

This is the cutest coffee shop I've ever been to! The coffee is so good, it also doesn't leave that bitter taste in your mouth that some coffee tends to do. There is also a good variety on the menu so everyone could find something. read more

Nektar - a sandwich and a cup of coffee on a picnic table - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Arnolds Park, Iowa

Only one worker who was trying their hardest. The smoothies we received were not blended all the through and tasted very sugary. This place has great potential however and I love to see health options in okoboji. Will stop by again to try other menu options. read more

Nektar - Cold brew coffee. On the strong side, still pretty good. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Arnolds Park, Iowa

I'm sad to have to say this about a place that makes a decent bulletproof coffee but....The customer service at this place is less than friendly! They don't smile and act like everything you ask for is an inconvenience. read more

Great addition to Okoboji!! Fresh and delicious! The avocado toast and açaí bowl is our fav!!

I love to see healthy options in okoboji! Food is good. However the people working need to be less rude. My friends, family and I got rude responses when asking about switching out ingredients if one couldn't eat something and also told other customers that our group or as they said "the whole sorority" was holding up the line when we came. read more

Was very excited to try this place and there are not many smoothie options, but I had a terrible experience. I ordered a smoothie bowl and after it came out realized it had nuts which is not listed on the menu. I am allergic so I asked if they could remake me one and they would not and were rude about it. Stay home and make your own smoothie. read more

So many people complaining about rude employees here. Who cares?! Everyone is entitled to a bad day once in awhile - get over it and yourself. ANYWAY - food here is amazing. The veggie toast is TO. DIE. FOR. Like if I'm ever on death row, this will be my final meal request. I'm also making it my life mission to try to dupe the delicious cream cheese since I live 80 miles away from this little gem. Cold brew was strong but smooth and I meant to try a smoothie BOWL - but accidentally ordered a cup (smoothie) which was also super good. read more

Great options finally in the okoboji area. But....why are the workers so incredibly rude? Been there twice, been treated awfully both times.

Received an explanation of smoothie ingredients from the owner. Much appreciated. Will definitely be stopping in again next season.

I have stopped here several time this summer. The smoothie bowls are so good, as well as the veggie toast, which has become my favorite. The foods that I have tried are bursting with flavor, which is hard to find in this area. As a rhubarb fan they also make very yummy scones. The coffee is also good, as an Americano drinker I haven't explored much with there drinks, but if they're anything like the food they will be delicious! read more
