Our group had the veggie toast (cucumber, radish, avocado), scrambled egg toast, beet juice with lemon, the oat nut butter and jam breakfast cookie (awesome), and a cocoa bowl which was loaded with homemade gluten-free granola. Cute urban/rustic styled of coffee shop. Minimal inside seating, very loud from all the blenders going, and the layout could be a bit more functional. I was greeted with pretty cold looks from everyone on staff and had to really be extra kind to them for an employee to say much in return (I don't expect them to be super bubbly but they looked like they hated their job). Ordered the veggie toast which tasted good, but said it would have micro greens on top and it was just arugula. If that's the regular topping, I think the menu needs to disclose that. Also ordered an iced dirty chai and that was VERY tasty. Overall wasn't super impressed with the service and especially for the price point I would not go again. I spent about $15 before tip on just a veggie toast and a coffee/tea. read more

Been here a couple times; coffee, food, and ambiance is great. The free games make it a great hang out spot. Last time I was there, the chef even gave us free bacon wrapped dates because he accidentally made too many! It's too bad a poor experience with a rude bartender ruined this place as a night spot for me. Would recommend for breakfast/lunch. read more

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon to grab some lunch. There was one other customer in there. The lady working behind the counter ignored us for over 10 minutes, before coming over and not asking how she could help us, just by staring at us until we asked if we could get some menus. We ordered paninis that were horribly dry, and a smoothie that she refused to substitute any of the ingredients. Another couple walked in and she did the same thing to them and they ended up walking out stating they would NEVER come back. It's very sad that the help was so RUDE, because the inside is very cozy and pleasant. I was told the lady working is one of the owners, very sad she is running off business, but we won't be back either after our first experience. read more

First time visiting the new permanent location. Really attractive interior. The young lady who took my order (matcha green tea latte, hot) is who I remember from food truck. No customer service, whatsoever, still! She greets no one. Waits for customer to speak to her. Hoards of people walked in while I waited for my drink and she said nothing to them. Regulars that walked in knew to head to the register to order and passed by many who were clearly new and didn't know where to order or what to do because this server said nothing to them. Not even "welcome" or "good morning", let alone, "I can help whoever is next". My latte was not hot, but warm at best. This business could sure use better customer service training!!! read more

We're from Portland, so we know a good health food food cart when we see one, and this is it. With no authority at all, I'll take it upon myself to name this the hidden gem of Okoboji. Love the chia tea and smoothie bowls, when they actually make it correctly.. Several times now I have ordered a smoothie bliss bowl only to receive a smoothie bowl. Won't even try asking to have it corrected. The energy of the staff is terrible. I work a stones throw away so I'm there 3+ times a week and 95% of the time I'm welcomed with a RBF. I ordered a smoothie bowl and after it came out realized it had nuts which is not listed on the menu. I am allergic so I asked if they could remake me one and they would not and were rude about it. I have stopped here several time this summer. The smoothie bowls are so good, as well as the veggie toast, which has become my favorite. The foods that I have tried are bursting with flavor, which is hard to find in this area. As a rhubarb fan they also make very yummy scones. The coffee is also good, as an Americano drinker I haven't explored much with there drinks, but if they're anything like the food they will be delicious! read more
