I became acquainted with Mike Raitt at a Retirement Seminar he put on at Collin County College in Frisco. This seminar was two evenings, loaded with information that was Very Informative and useful! It cost $25-35 for the materials we received and instead of getting a sales pitch and a free steak dinner, offered very practical and useful information. As I've said, this is the company and the man that I've been looking for, for a long time. I was getting very frustrated with going to Investment firms that would offer a product but had no clue on what tax ramifications it would have; and going to a CPA who could not advise us which type of investment was best suited for our particular situation. Mike Raitt treated us with utmost respect and is a company that is licensed to offer a CPA, Investments, Mortgages, Re-Financing, Life Insurance as well as other services. In addition he not only offers Retirement Seminars but Seminars on funding College Educations for your kids. I have been Very Pleased with the service and recommendations of the Almega Group and would highly recommend them!

Unfortunately, I felt robbed after he did my taxes last year. I got a bill for 3200 dollars? Really? For a tax return? He gave me a "new customer discount" which was a joke. I'm used to paying 800-1200 for taxes. The bill was filled with "hours" of interns and employees who did work, and "hours" of him checking the work. Really a scam. Maybe a big business or corporation would want to spend that kind of money on a complex tax return. If you are a hard working individual like myself, don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.

From the…read moreoutset, FranFund proved to be among the most professional businesses I've worked with while I had my business. Dolores Delgado and Holly Bejar always answered my questions and diligently made sure that assorted paperwork was taken care of and that deadlines were noted with plenty of warning. The cost, compared to having to know and handle the IRS regulations yourself, is incredibly low. If you're going to finance your business with retirement funds, I think FranFund is the best way to be sure that tricky IRS regulations are managed. Even as I had to sunset my business and finish my business with FranFund, Dolores was 100% attentive and helpful right to the last step.

Despite months of engagement, FranFund only introduced us to one lender who denied our loan at the last minute--delaying our business opening. They offered no viable backup options in time, and we were forced to find funding independently under tight pressure. Even though no funding came through and no promised support was delivered, FranFund refused a refund, citing fine print instead of actual performance. We feel this experience was unethical, costly, and misleading. If you're a small business owner relying on timely and effective financing support--proceed with extreme caution.
