Initially I was a little nervous to see a new dentist as I had not had the greatest experiences in the past as well. But Dr. Wascow was so friendly and knowledgeable. She reassured me and tried everything she could to resolve an unfortunately cracked tooth. Two other dentists had told me that there was nothing wrong and the pain I had experienced for years after a filling was done by another dentist was "in my head". Dr. Wascow immediately guessed it was a small crack and tried a conservative treatment of a redo of my filling, then a crown, but unfortunately it still had to get a root canal. But during my treatment the Endodontist said he saw the crack and that the crown Dr Wascow did was exceptional. Dr. Wascow knew it all along and was so patient and kind to me with all my questions and frequent visits. I had never had a root canal or crown so I was very nervous. She even called me after my root canal to see how I was doing. I have never had a dentist do that in my entire life. I am definitely not the easiest patient but so fortunate to have found such a patient, kind and knowledgeable dentist so close to my home. I will be recommending her to all my friends and family and hope more people have an experience like I have had when they go to the dentist. Thank you!!!

Several years ago my old bridge (done by some other dentist) started shaking, and she tried to remove and reattach it to save me time and money, and I thought it was kind and thoughtful of her. She tried 3 times in vane, and eventually she had to cut it and make a new one. Then I didn't doubt her skills, but now I suspect that that bridge could be removed and reattached. Read on. 2. In November 2023, my wife's tooth broke, and she tried to reattach it, but, after an hour of messing with it and leaving my wife in tears, she gave up. 3. My wife then got an implant and came back to Dr. Wascow for an implant crown, but her newly-installed crown was shaking, A NEW CROWN! It turned out the new crown was short and installed incorrectly. My wife went to a different dentist who removed the crown and made and installed a different one that fit perfectly well, like her own natural tooth. 4. Within a week after my wife broke her tooth, mine broke too, miraculous coincident. Dr. Wascow "kindly" reattached/glued it, but it broke within a week or so, so she tried again, but it fell off in a day or two, but what surprised me was that she charged me both times (even 2nd time for her unsuccessful attempt to try to correct her own mistake). I also got an implant, then went to the same dif. dentist who made my wife's crown, and he made me a new crown. WE NEVER WENT BACK TO DR. WASCOW.

Dr. McNeir was patient, not in a rush, answered my questions and invited more. He thoroughly explained the whole process, even while mid-procedure. The dentist shaved down a bottom tooth even when I mentioned this was not the reason for the tooth chipping. Completely disregarded anything I had to say and spoke to me as if I was an uneducated child that couldn't comprehend the sorcery he was about to perform. Now, the shaved tooth is razor sharp. Having the other front tooth previously chip, the respective bottom tooth was not shaved down. My bottom teeth are uneven and the tooth is significantly smaller (both at the top and in the front, compliments of the "minor adjustment"), even though I was reassured it wouldn't be. The top tooth has once again chipped no more than a week later. The dentist stated he would be more "aggressive" if this were to happen. Since I went in with one tooth issue and left with two, I'm going to have to respectfully pass on this "aggressive" procedure. I was told the previous was minor so aggressive makes me fear what that procedure would hold in store for me. Stating this would have been the course of other dentists begs to question why my other tooth is still holding strong and the unnecessary requirement to shave down the bottom. Nearly identical scenarios, different dentists. I now have two issues plaguing me daily as a result of this visit. As I was trying to gather myself in my car, upset about my uneven and smaller bottom tooth, along with the top. The dentist knocked on my window, having followed me to my car to only again state that I probably couldn't understand what was done. It was very uncomfortable to have him follow me into the parking lot and confront me. Demeaning to say the least and insulting to my intelligence. Maybe, I don't fully understand his profession but to speak to someone as if they are ignorant or brainless was very unprofessional. I would not want to step foot in there again. She ignored that and immediately starts probing there causing me to scream in pain and telling her to stop. Instead of checking to see if I was ok, she slumped her shoulders and stared at the wall without a word. I knew right away that she was quite irritated by my audacity to react to pain. The dentist came in shortly after and began rattaling off a long list of everything that was wrong. She became more and more agitated about the issues. I was confused as this was the first I heard of it. Something felt off, and I indicated I was going to speak with my perio. I told them later I was going to get a 2nd opinion. I got a call from the dentist shortly afterward. Good on her for calling quickly and not sending it to someone else. The dentist proceeded to lecture me that because the hygenist was wearing a mask, there was no way I could know she was agitated. She was defending her employee, fair enough, but I know human body language, and I knew what her stance meant. There was no uncertainty. I had a better experience with the new dentist. She saw me shaking in the chair with anxiety from my previous experience, and with compassion, she quickly indicated that it's not as bad as it was made out to be, and we have just discussed a plan with my perio. Because of the trauma from here, I NOW require nitrious at any and all appointments out of fear of being made to feel pain with zero compassion.
