We considered several photographers, but there was just something about Nina's photos that caught my eye. Her style is the perfect balance between natural, formal, and casual, and she just seems to capture the emotions of the day. Well, we just received the first round of our proofs, and my heart is literally overflowing with joy and emotion over how beautiful they are. Nina captured so many moments that I wasn't even aware of because how can one person be everywhere at once? It seems Nina and her assistant were! It should be said that I did not advise my family to arrive early for family portraits. (I didn't want to deal with corralling them.) Serendipitously, they did arrive early, and Nina quickly got them organized. Using the list of family members she had us prepare in advance, she calmly and efficiently captured beautiful family photos that will be treasured for our lifetimes. She also captured the most adorable pictures of my daughter with her friends and her cousins-- moments I was not even present for. But Nina knew that they would be timeless and meaningful and took the opportunity to create fun memories. The composition of Nina's photos is stunning. The lighting, the angles, the softness, the contrast-- everything is perfect. She finds the beauty in the surroundings and creates the prettiest backgrounds. I appreciate how efficient Nina works, yet she has a calm energy, is professional, and helps move people along. Nina has been doing my pictures for almost 12 years now. When my son was newborn and now he's almost 12. The pictures are so very beautiful that MANY of my friends now use her and adore her as much as I do. When we consulted with Neenz Photography we were told the Rose package included artwork on the photos for the wedding book and that we would receive the rights and copies of the photos digitally. Nina mentioned a USB drive in a personalized box with all the photos for an additional fee of $250 which we paid for. We received watermarked photos to select for our wedding book. Few months later we received an email where to go to download all the updated pictures. We were told that we should receive the wedding book in about 2 to 3 weeks. A month and half later we asked where it was. We were told a different time frame. By then my wife was upset and mentioned it to Nina about what's going on with the time frame. The next day she sends a tracking number all of a sudden. When we received the wedding book a week later we asked where the USB drive was, she said it's also coming from the publisher separately. Weeks later we asked again and she mentioned that she was moving to AZ and would look into it when she gets there. Another week later she sent a text saying she went in to order the usb and box (which we were previously told it was already ordered with the wedding book) and now it's no longer made. So she said she would offer us a 14x11 portrait instead. WHAT? Now we are appalled so we asked for a refund of the $250. A week later we sent another txt with a copy of the contract showing the 250 that was charged for a USB and box. Basically she said there are no refunds. We were told and sold one thing at consultation and the end result it was another... Very disappointing for our special day. read more
