We had never considered a doula for the birth of our daughter but my midwife recommended we think…read moreabout it suggested we try a doula-photographer. She recommended Rivkah and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the decision! As a doula Rivkah had several prenatal and postpartum visits with us and went over everything from birthing positions, breastfeeding, emotional support, tips for my husband, and so much more. She was available via phone and text for all my questions and checked in with us regularly. As photographer she was superb! Having someone take such intimate photos as those that occur during childbirth can be intimidating but Rivkah made me feel so comfortable that I honestly didn't realize she was there for the majority of the time (with the shots she got it's hard to imagine!). The images she captured perfectly reflected the intensity, power, and intimacy of those hours. I highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again in the future.

Being new to this, I didn't know what to expect but I did predict that I might be a little bored. I predicted myself being anxious to get it over with and move on to the point where I got to share the results with friends and family. Let me tell you how wrong I was. From the moment we got to her studio we were greeted with a warm welcome and compliments over our son's awesome hair as I took him out of his car seat. Mom and baby went first and I was instantly in awe over the poses and creativity she brought to the table. The mother of my child is gorgeous and yet Lindsay found a way to make her look even more radiant. I went next and though I like to be the center of attention in a full room, I'm not comfortable in front of a camera. She made the whole thing relaxing and my girlfriend was standing back behind her crying tears of joy. I genuinely can't wait to see what all the fuss was about. It was then all about the little man. Let me tell you, watching Lindsay work with our son had me in awe. She was gentle, patient, creative, focused and really, really good at her trade. I could have sat there for hours watching her work her magic. It was simply amazing. We were referred to Lindsay by some friends and I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with her. She is a true professional with skills that far exceed the norm. She is and always will be our photographer and I genuinely can't wait until our next session but at the same time I don't want him to grow another day older. If you have heard good things about Lindsay or are just searching around for a great photographer, I strongly encourage you to schedule a session with her. Just stand back and watch her work her magic as you try to contain your awe. What a great experience all 3 of us had today! Great job Lindsay! You have clients for life! Todd, Jessica & Dekker

Can't say enough good things about this photographer :)
