When i finally called her on this obtrusive behavior, she dropped me and blacklisted me as "non-compliant." Because of this one word being in my record, i could not get any doctor in town to take me on and as a result could get none of my medication refilled. I am a severe asthmatic on twelve medications and was hospitalized three times over two years before finally getting a physician. I believe that because of that one impetuous word, she knew full well that she was sentencing me to death because i dared to defy her. I barely survived and i feel that she abused her power in a reckless and vindictive manner.

Each medicine might contradict with the other and that only makes my problems more complicated. Then, someone told me about the Accupuncture Center of Evansville. I decided to give it a try. Charlene did wonders for me. My swollen wrist (due to arthritis) is back to normal again. What a relief! Charlene also treated my extremely stiff neck. I can now move my head easily and get on with my daily routine without fearing the pains. I also had a Chinese cupping session at the Centre to try to relieve the tightness between my shoulders. After just one session there has been much relief and my back feels so much better now. Charlene is indeed a gifted healer. No more 'chemical treatments' for me!

I will say the first and most important reason that I myseof pick this location everytime that one of us needs to be seen would be because of the staff! Marcy Mabry, APRN, (which is the clinic Director at the Henderson clinic) is so sweet, patient, and very attentive when it comes to her patients she is seeing. She is quick and amazing everytime we are there, but she is also very thorough when it comes to the examination, diagnosing, and the overall attention she gives to hearing all your concerns as a patient. (Quick isn't always a bad thing and she has proven that to me as a parent more than once). She has even just recently caught my son's low oxygen levels due to a pneumonia diagnosis she had come to the conclusion of, and she was sure to schedule us a follow up for him in just a few days from then so that she could ensure that his oxygen levels had safely came back up after some medication and rest. She is always on point in all the times I've had to come there with my children or myself! Also the ALL staff! Everyone there from the most kindest front desk secretary ever, to everyone that is apart of the Nurse staff there are just so kind, understanding, yet gentle when necessary. And of course Mabry! They are all always so friendly and consistent! They have always made our experiences easy, comfortable, and smooth. I want to add that the building itself inside is also always clean and tidy everytime I've been in there. You couldn't ever tell sick people have been in and out of there at all all day long everytime I've been there. The check in process has also evolved as well, and it is super easy these days! We absolutely adore them all there and they are always our go too when we aren't being seen by our family doctor's or specialists and need someone to count on!!!‍

I booked a couple of 60 minute sessions through their Facebook Messenger page, which usually doesn't work with most businesses, but they were extremely helpful and accommodating through several messages back and forth. Once we arrived, the gentleman at the counter checked us in and gave us instructions, and the what we can expect low-down. He was very informative and answered several questions we had. The spa was fairly small, but calming & very visually appealing. He walked us into our rooms and showed us exactly what we needed to do to prep for our float, including showering, washing any and all body lotions, etc. off. Everything you needed for before and after the float were in the room including the shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, and more. The 60 minute float was like nothing I've ever experienced before. A place where you have nothing to do but relax. It took me a good 15 minutes to adjust to the lack of sensory overload and do nothing but be inside my own head, but before I knew it, every sensation in my body completely disappeared, and I melted atop the bed of salt water. The only unfortunate thing for me was the 60 minute session was over in a flash, and it was time to depart my little water capsule haven. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone try this! It's definitely a detox from the world and a way to get rid of the aches & pains!
