Jake, Anthony, and Tarin (sp?) were there about 1-2 hours later, which was pretty amazing considering how bad the recent storms had been. The team quickly moved the furniture, removed much of the water, and placed drying equipment in the house. Justin came over to assess the work the next day, which was a Saturday. Follow up was excellent. Restoration then had me work with Dan Weber on the reconstruction of the basement. This included reinstallation and some replacement of custom molding baseboards which were no longer available. Dan went far above and beyond to create a great solution. Then Jon & Jodie expertly reconstructed the finished work. The basement looks great and was done in a very reasonable amount of time. Thanks Restoration 1!

UNTRUSTWORTHY and POOR Customer Service…read more Our five year old Combi Gas Water Heater/Furnace system with green technology, recommended and installed by Mast, is now discontinued and seemingly defective, leaving us with a flooded and damaged newly finished lower level. Within only months of each other, two flooding incidents occurred from this unit. The first incident, there was no significant damage-luckily we caught it in time. Coils inside the unit cracked which allowed water to pour out like a garden hose. We had absolutely no idea something like this could even occur! After the first flood, Mast was slow to engage while we were without hot water for 5 days. WE had to call for updates while we waited for next steps. Frustrated, we wrote an unfavorable review. We received a call the next day that was unprofessional. We were also told at this time that our unit was discontinued. My husband wanted to give them another chance, so we sincerely tried to work with Mast on a different replacement model, due to future part concerns. Mast offered us assurances and a part replacement, OR, they offered us the same discontinued unit, sitting on their floor at their site, NEW, they said. We would pay the labor. We declined to go thru reinstallation of another discontinued unit, so the part was replaced and we moved forward. Only a few weeks prior to this incident our unit was serviced with routine maintenance by Mast. In July, only months since the first flood, the second flood occurred. SAME ISSUE. This time it was much much worse! Even now, with a water shut-off valve installed, within MINUTES, nearly half of our newly finished 1500 SF lower level was significantly damaged-furniture, carpet, pad, drywall, paint, baseboards and trim. Again, no hot water for days and we're left with a long and costly replacement, restoration process ahead of us.

Honestly one of the worst experience with a trade company I've had recently…read more My wife and I were in the process of buying a home and there was water issues in the crawl space that needed to be remedied before the sale went through, so we called this company to have them waterproof our foundation. After the $13000 bill and "finish" of the project we noticed water still in the crawl space and our back step mysteriously pitched towards the house. We didn't think much of it because we had bigger projects to tackle. Fast forward a few months and it's time to figure out what happened. We call and explain the situation, and somehow it doesn't fall under warranty. They offer to come look at what's going on and potentially have to finish the project, for another $1500 plus $1000 to take out the step. We consider this to be ridiculous and attempt to take the step out ourself (which we do after another week of back breaking work), only to discover that they dug under our step, likely the cause of the collapse and pitch towards the house and only placed 6 inches of barrier without even attaching it to the house. Now after about 5 calls with no contact back I'm for ed to leave this review warning other homeowners from working with this crooked company. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Unfortunately, the customer service experience overshadowed the quality of the work. Our original quote needed adjustment because the fence placement was off-center from the house. We reviewed a drawing and agreed to updates, but a revised invoice was never provided. When the crew arrived, they were unaware of the changes. After receiving the invoice, I reached out requesting a breakdown of the additional charges, as it wasn't clear--but never received a response. The company later claimed they had emailed multiple times, but there is no record of those messages--only unrelated marketing emails. The situation escalated when the owner showed up unannounced and repeatedly knocked on our door while we were both working from home on important calls. When we attempted to pay, every option included additional fees, including ACH. At this point, the fence itself looks great, but the communication, billing clarity, and overall customer service made the process far more stressful than it should have been. Unfortunately, not worth the effort or continued frustration.
