The locals seem to enjoy the hole-in-the-wall espresso bar, but I can't say this one would be the top of my list next time I hit the North Burleigh Beach. Opening ten minutes late due to chatting to a regular outside isn't a great start for those hanging out for their post-swim caffeine fix. The Açai bowls are smaller and contain fewer add-ins than other local places, for the same price, and take a strangely long period of time to make.
I had a great coconut milk flat white, but it also took a long time to arrive.
Being a small service area, they only make a small range of toasties and the bowls, as well as providing a small selection of muffins, and between 9:30-10:30am you can get a bacon and egg burger. But just for that one hour.
The view of the Burleigh coastline from the seats is pretty spectacular, so get yourself a coffee and soak it up as the sun rises if you're not in a hurry. read more
