This place seems stuck in the 90s - and not in the good, nostalgic way. You can smoke here - which, considering the fact that it is located in a cellar and there is virtually no ventilation, means you will struggle to get the smell of smoke out of your clothes and hair for days to come.
The menu is too beer heavy with a lack of variety, and modern cocktails like Aperol Spritz, which nowadays became a staple and can be found anywhere, are nowhere to be seen. So if you don't drink beer, you will struggle to find something to drink on the menu.
This seems like an average village or small town pub, but considering the location and the fact that there are dozens of better bars in walking distance, means that this place fails to appeal to anyone outside of its already loyal customer base. read more
