My experience with Jennifer O'Brien was extremely different from that of Elle B. I called the office for help with formalizing and recording an easement on a rental property, and ask to speak with her because of the real-estate work she listed in her CV. I found it easy to work with her. She listened carefully to the issue, we had a friendly interaction, and she quickly generated a professional document ready for recording, in the appropriate legal form, and covering several issues that had not even occurred to me. I would certainly return to her if I ever needed legal help on a real-estate issue, and have no hesitancy in recommending her. (And no -- she did not ask me to write this review. Christopher Neary is an excellent attorney. You can disregard the reviews of Laurence T. And Chi Chi R., who are one and the same, because Laurence T., a bully, a liar, and a thief, has been beaten soundly in a court of law by Mr. Neary more than once. The most notable of these losses is when Laurence T. attempted to foreclose on 48 properties while he was an HOA board member for the Sherwood Ranch Homeowners Association. Terrible attorney! Disorganized, condescending, sloppy, poor understanding of the law, and more interested in increasing office billings than resolving issues. Stuck in the stone ages is right! The peeling paint you are greeted with as you trudge up his office stairs is your first clue. This one is well beyond his expiration date. You throw milk away at that point-enuff said. =) read more

RUN, FAST! I called this office yesterday and Neary answered. Apparently they can't afford a receptionist or secretary? Why is the lawyer answering the phone. The connection was poor and I couldn't hear him well enough and asked him to repeat his name. He stated, "I'M GONNA SAY IT ONE MORE TIME AND IF YOU CAN'T GET IT, THEN I'M HANGING UP!" Mind you this is supposed to be a grown man in a professional field. The amount of anger and immaturity was immeasurable. Then I got transferred to Jennifer O'Brien. She was even worse. I was calling for a simple request, to get a copy of my father's will since my stepmother had a massive stroke which has left her paralyzed and unable to speak and he assigned me as the executor of his estate. This girl (because she doesn't deserve to be called a woman with her immaturity) actually yelled at me and eventually hung up in my face. People like this should not be able to practice law or work in any public sector. Their behavior is criminal and ugly and down right evil. I will be reporting them to the California board. read more
