I was having a hell of a time trying to find a metal liner for my firepit. The mass-produced…read moreliners online just didn't look great *or strong* and I couldn't find anything that was a good fit. I'm so glad I found Jim & Mighty Fab. He definitely went above and beyond for my small project. He came over for the estimate as promised and gave me a download on what he recommended for my project and we worked together on the details before landing on a final plan. He kept me updated along the build process and the liner turned out pretty sweet with a beautiful custom fit. Worth noting when comparing this custom liner vs the mass produced stuff online- Jim can create a welded one-piece unit that is structural vs. most online stuff is multiple pieces bolted together. Also, check out the seamless top lip- beautiful work! I don't think you'll find a more meticulous fabricator in town - Jim gets it done! Also, it's great to support a small business and an overall really nice guy. Thanks again for the great work Jim - very much appreciated!

This review is strictly for my Yelp communication with Mighty Fab when I inquired about purchasing…read morea sheet of 18-guage stainless steel or getting it cut to size if I provided the stock. Jim responded pretty much immediately with not only a thoughtful, friendly, and great explanation of what his capabilities are, but lots of suggestions of other reputable businesses to try since he couldn't quite do what I wanted. Jim continued to respond promptly and provide lots of great support and suggestions based on my responses. I particularly appreciated Jim's honesty and being so transparent and up-front about the results if he were to do the job with his equipment. Although Jim didn't have the capability to perform what I wanted, I was able to get the job done through following his recommendations. I'd definitely recommend contacting Mighty Fab if you need any metal work done, and I'll definitely keep Mighty Fab in mind for future needs.

From plumbing issues to electrical, from hanging art and mounting TVs to installing and fixing random things around the house - he's been amazing. Dan is friendly and professional, he's transparent with pricing up front, flexible with scheduling, he's always on time (or lets you know if the job before you is running long), and he never tries to price-gouge. The icing on the cake? We had a rescue dog who hated everyone and was afraid of his own shadow, but he loved Dan. That was all the confirmation we needed!!

(he called to say he would be late and then proceeded to be 30 minutes later than he said he would be with no call). He had two tasks, both which he rushed through and put away his tools before confirming the job was done correctly. The second job was not correct. He proceeded to blame me for not being out there to oversee his work while he was doing it. I was five steps away inside my home. He merely had to come in and ask me to join him, which he did not. He blamed the prior job for making him late as they "added items" to which he was not there to do. Not! My! Fault! and not a reason to rush through my job and blame me for his mistakes. I have never been spoked to so disrespectfully by someone I was paying to do work. I will never use him again, nor recommend. Additionally, he is EXPENSIVE!

I had found the matching stain on ebay and Michael was willing to work with it. His price was reasonable and he was very committed to 'getting it right', which he did. The furniture came out beautifully, and we have lovely new-looking pieces that are actually quite vintage. The process took quite a while, but we were not in a hurry so there was no pressure on him from us. For a low additional charge, he and his dad delivered it and picked it up, which was a big help to us. All in all a very pleasant experience, and I would most certainly use them again, in fact we are looking for another piece right now for him to transform.
