If you are skeptical about cleanliness, it will be the least of your worries here. Everyone is super friendly and super informative. They are fast, effective and efficient. I had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, and he did remarkably well! My anxiety levels were through the roof (I have put this off for nearly a decade because of it), but they made sure to make me feel as comfortable as possible and communicated what they were doing/going to do, the entire time. I checked in @ 1pm and was out the door before 2pm. I was so confident in his practice (based on what I was told by others) that I chose to go to him, even though he is "out-of-network" for my dental insurance provider. Even though it increased my out-of-pocket, I DO NOT REGRET IT! He knows what he is doing and so do his staff, they are fantastic!

If I could give zero stars I would. Imagine getting teeth extracted just to have the sites to be…read morereopened 5 times in a little over a week. Told you don't feel any pain, you don't have dry socket (in both) (which I did), rough handling to the point your crown on another tooth is popped off. Bruises on both sides of your face told and you don't need pain meds. Countless injections on both sides of your face for numbing and not even told you were going to be reopened again. Nerves hit repeatedly to the point a panic attack is induced and told "oh stop it... We don't do that here". Having to remain in the chair, quiet, bleeding and feeling it. Then a panic attack happens. You get HIS doctor notes approving the time you need off. But it when it comes to your paperwork for work- he fills it out completely wrong 5 times. It's only 8 questions. Changes his answers, doesn't respond to emails, doesn't pay for the crown he dislodged, and now your job is at stake. The staff argues with you about the time off letters and it's wording. Yeah never going back and telling everyone this story.

I was told a price for my husband having a tooth removed. it was a very high price but I put it on…read moremy care credit because my husband was in pain. imagine my horror when a few weeks later I got an additional bill for 400.00. I didn't even know what I was being charged for. The guy on the phone was rude. I asked for an itemized statement as the bill I got didn't show the 1000 I had already given them. He emailed me something with a bunch of terms I didn't know what they stood for. i'm very disappointed and feel ripped off. 1400 to pull a tooth?? . I will never go back to Aspen Dental.

Whether it's for a routine exam, a bi-annual cleaning or the need for a corrective procedure from a cavity to a crown, Dr. McLaughlin is truly the 'gentle dentist'. His staff is more than exceedingly competent, they're cordial and welcoming and treat everyone like an old friend. We're thrilled that we moved to Madison County many years ago for many reasons but to be able to have been referred to Dr. McLaughin and now have him and his wonderful staff attend to all our dental needs is way up on the list.
