You do need to bring a rubber playground ball - google shows Walmart sells one by Franklin sports for less than $5-) The park is very clean, and it turns it's because one of the neighborhood family keeps it that way. We saw a man walking around with a bag and trash picker collecting whatever litter he spotted - what an amazing guy! There's no public restroom in sight or porta potty. However, there is a playground supervision office that opens from 12-6pm from 6/27-8/12 so it might have a restroom. Maybe?

I usually drop in for open play, but they also offer organized leagues for different skill levels, which is great if you're looking for something more competitive. I've also tried their Drill & Practice sessions for beginner/intermediate players, and they were actually really helpful, I picked up a few techniques that improved my game. Their website stays updated with schedules, so it's easy to plan ahead. Aside from pickleball, they've got a good selection of strength and cardio equipment too. Overall, it's a fun, well-run place whether you're there to play or get a workout in.

They're owned by ECC, but are used often by BDSL teams which send overweight beer-bellied men to kick the crap out of each other on Sundays and sometimes Saturdays and Tuesdays too. I've played soccer on these fields probably 20 times in my life, most recently about two summers ago for an away game which was brilliant because I scored twice. Great memory. I love the fields. I always play better on lush green fields with the grass well cut and this is not always well cut but it was on the day when I got my win. These days it's 15 seconds drive from my Gym so I come over here and play soccer just for fun with friends every now and again even now. These are absolutely lovely fields, but they get too windy, and they also get a little neglected during the cold months of the year, which is a shame but understandable. All in all they score a solid 4, and I always enjoyed playing here.

It has a long hallway with a few rooms that were created to focus on fun and recreation for infants, toddlers, walkers, and runners. My 2 1/2 year old son loved each room and the staff was nice enough to let him choose where he wanted to explore. The mix of books, toys, bounce houses, train tables, ball pits, and climbing toys will have your kids excited from the moment they walk in! The hallway is a great runway for bikes and other riding toys. I wish they could offer more hours because of how great our first experience was, but I am also happy to support a business who values their own family time and builds the business around that. Anyway, it's only $5 per kid, per play time and you can buy passes for the week or month! We will be back...probably tonight.

For those more sports minded or partial to a particular sport, the football, soccer, basketball, hockey, etc were fun as well. You could actually work up a decent sweat chasing after the balls and turn this into a bit of a work out. It did seem that some of the games were a little glitchy, like you would hit the zombie and it would show a hit, but not quite register, I'm not sure how old the simulators are but I can understand how that would happen, and we still had fun and enjoyed the experience. The food was fine, typical sort of buffet food. Roast beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes, pasta and sauce, veggies. It did seem like the could have brought more roast beef faster, and refilled pitchers of pop/water, however as I didn't plan the party I also don't know how much was promised with the package purchased. Particularly with the long winter we go through in Buffalo, this seems like a cool place to take the whole family where everyone can have a good time and enjoy something a little different.
