One of the things we needed was the flexibility to give certain employees the ability to buy things for the business using the company's account. They assured us this would be straightforward. It was not. After bringing the employees in each individually to do the paperwork, we were told that it had been done incorrectly by the bank employee for two of them and consequently all the signatures would have to be collected again. I called to inquire about this. The bank employee who did the paperwork had seemed confused but had not bothered to ask anyone else to ensure the paperwork was done correctly -- either the employee was new or needed a refresher on how to handle business accounts. I received no apology, just a short, "uh no ... he has been working here awhile." That was it. We moved our business banking shortly thereafter. Never had any personal account experience there but Citizens was one of two major banks in another east coast city I used to live in and most people I knew chose Bank of America for their personal accounts over Citizens because of fees.

If people aren't getting paid, you don't need to pay people to pay them. Just a few partial payments on the M&T credit card until I got a new job and they closed the credit line with a $11,000 balance on it, & jacked my interest up as high as legally possible. Have a 4 year old girl to house and feed. Destroyed me. All lines of credit I had with 0 balances fell like dominoes. My credit rating went from 750 to 550 and even to this day my credit reflects as near 300% usage. Only one left standing Sears, a retail credit card with a line of $5,000. A card I've had 21+ years. Sad I can depend on a citibank retail credit card more than my own bank. Can't believe their slogan is "understanding what's important." Gotta be a joke. My only real mistake is not looking for a personal loan to pay off M&T as of yet and make sure they don't get 2 cents of mine again..

I waited behind a car in the drive up for 15 minutes and when it was my turn a the teller shut the window up and walked away. I would have understood if I pulled up and the closed light was on or there was some indication they were not taking anymore customers. However, that was not the case. It was just plain rude and inconsiderate.
