DO NOT USE THIS FIRM - BEWARE OF FEE CHANGING AFTER THE SERVICES ARE COMPLETED!!…read moreWe used this firm to complete our 2014 personal tax return. We had agreed upon a fee (IN WRITING) prior to the services being performed. Our accountant, Scott, made several errors to the return, which luckily I caught prior to filing. Once the return was finally error-free, we filed and about a month later, we received an invoice for over THREE TIMES the agreed upon price!! Apparently we are being charged for the extra time it took for our accountant to fix HIS MISTAKES!! We are currently disputing the excess charges with the firm but they are threatening to send us to collections over this matter. Please don't get into this same mess that we are in with them - it has been months of going back and forth with them trying to resolve this issue fairly for the amount we agreed to pay in the first place. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere to a more ethical firm!!

The Spencer branch of Tioga State Bank is the most unprofessional bank I've ever dealt with in over…read more30 years and in three different countries I've lived in. Every single time I deposited a cheque electronically they messed it up and cited bogus "policies." They refused to remember my name even in the same conversation, physically took my phone out of my hands to try to sign into the app on it themselves, never responded to emails until I had to call their supervisors, and their technology is archaic. I couldn't even electronically sign documents like I do with every other bank I've used in the last decade. They would mail them which would take almost a week, when it should've been done the same day. Every employee I interacted with there was rude, uninformed, and unapologetic about their shortcomings. Save yourself the hassle and switch to any other bank or credit union in the area.
