Update: I don't know how to respond to the response below, so I am doing it here…read more No, I did not receive an estimate, and I did send my follow-up text to the direct number you provided below. None of this communication ever happened through Yelp. When you left my house, you said you would text me the quote, which I already found a little unusual because I normally receive quotes by email. I was therefore waiting to receive the quote by text through the number you provided below. That was the only number we had been communicating through. After a couple of days, when I still had not received anything, I sent a follow-up text to that same number asking when I could expect the quote. I received no response, and I still have not received an estimate. After remediation, I contacted VDO Remodeling for an estimate for restoration work. Denys from VDO Remodeling came to my house for a completely normal consultation and said he would provide a line-item estimate. The visit itself went fine, but I never received the quote. After a couple of days, I followed up by text to ask when I could expect it, but received no response. A frustrating waste of my time. If you're not interested in taking on a project, just say so. It's basic professional courtesy.

I needed my new security door installed so I asked around 15 handymen on Yelp and everyone's quote…read morewas around the same! I became a little frustrated so I asked for just a little discount and Sid was the only one willing to give me the price I asked for which is very kind of him due to it being my first time using him for this service! When my security door came earlier than expected, I texted Sid if he could come a day earlier and he sent a worker from his team who arrived on time to carefully put together this beautiful new security door within 2 hours. The job was not easy and the door just wouldn't close for the most part, but he kept working hard to figure out the problem and the end result was beautiful-so many compliments and people asking where I got this security door from. Thank you Sid and the hard work your team does!

Mr. Sid and Nick installed some outdoor Govee lights for us. They were on time, professional, and…read moregave us a good price compared to the few other contractors we talked to. They finished 300 feet of installation within a day in a super cold/slightly rainy weather and carried a smile until the end. The way they installed the lights also came out great. Sid looked at his finished work carefully at the end and I could tell that he took pride in his work. During the installation, I was concerned that they might break our roof tiles. Without me asking, Sid took some before and after pictures for me to provide reassurance. Abt a week ago, some of our lights stopped working and Sid had Nick come out within a few days to fix the broken cord for us. It wasn't their fault, but they took care of it quickly. We are very happy with their service!

Francisco was able to squeeze in an appointment the following day and gave me a reasonable estimate for the work. Long story short, he discovered that the problem was more than what was mentioned beforehand and involved dead rodents that somehow made it into the flue (stuck somewhere in the middle), probably made their way in through the said tree. Francisco was able to clean everything up. He was very polite and even entertained a barrage of questions from my 8yo son. Thanks again, Francisco for a job well done.

Let me preface this by saying we are in the middle of a full exterior remodel (siding, paint, roof,…read moreattic insulation, gutters, etc) and I have been dealing with contractors nonstop for the past 6 months. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), our 25 y.o. 5-ton A/C unit decided to bite the dust during the roof construction. I was weary of the experience I had just gone through in selecting a roofer and painter, but knew we had to "do it right" and invest in a heat pump system for long-term piece of mind and cost savings, (2,700 sqft single story home in Fair Oaks). 3 HVAC contractors came by the house - the first gave me the corporate high-pressure spiel and was way overpriced; the second was competitively priced but not interested in answering my questions or helping me with the $3,500 rebate afforded to me as a SMUD customer; the third was Andrey at Corsair. Andrey was a breath of fresh air - literally, I suppose. Not only was he flexible when I had to cancel our first appointment last minute, he showed up when he promised to, answered all of my detailed questions (lots of texting back and forth long before I signed any paperwork), offered to handle the SMUD rebate paperwork, provided a competitive quote, gave me several options to choose from, was wiling to fix mistakes I had made installing my own mini split in my detached office, happily pivoted when (mid-install) I requested he also replace the insulation in my ducting, didn't complain when I asked him to install an A/C unit cover I had ordered (free of charge), and then subsequently asked to move it again, AND got the job done in a day with a polite and professional crew. What else can I say: Andrey is a class act. Home ownership would truly be more rewarding if everyone in their profession were as passionate and dedicated. You cannot go wrong with Corsair.

I would recommend Andrey and his team if you're in a market for a new HVAC system.
