Total rip off. Joined for Pilates then they fired the teacher and canceled most of the classes. Too expensive and not a lot of return.

There is no sales pitch about joining at no point was I even presented with the membership rates or asked to join past my trial. I signed up with the front desk and they pretty much said ok enjoy! I would have expected maybe a tour of the facility or some basic information about what to expect and how everything works. Needless to say I was just thrown right into it (luckily not with the wolves). All the directions where given at each class so we were easily able to follow along. The instructors are AMAZING, very helpful, came around to make sure you were doing the exercises right, and always willing to lead a hand to remind you of an exercise. All the classes were circuit style. The classes offered a wide variety of exercises and each day there was something different. Although I loved the instructors and classes a few reasons I did not extend my membership was that stretching was not part of the class (a few minutes before or after could go a long way). In addition, the equipment never seemed to be cleaned, I would have liked for wipes to be around the gym so that members could clean the equipment after each class.

For years I have put up with all of the below but it is one of the worst runs gyms I have ever witnessed. I cannot for the life of me understand how Crunch allows this place to exist under their brand name without calling for major changes. Shame on Crunch Corp. and shame on Hyatt Hotels which has its guest use this place as their gym. The gym is constantly dirty. Scary for a place that requires cleanliness. The bathrooms are disgusting. There is a hole in the tile wall near the men's sinks that has sheetrock covering it. Has been like this for years. The sauna and steam shower are constantly broken or out of order. The showers are absolutely disgusting and appear to never actually be cleaned. Toilets smell like they never get cleaned. The lockers are old and dilapidated with many lockers broken or requiring repair. Mind you, nothing in the bathroom/locker rooms have been updated in years...possibly even decades. GYM: Lets start with the fact that the equipment is the same equipment that has been used in this place for decades...and it shows. More importantly, machines are constantly broken and take weeks to get repaired. Padding on machines is cracked or broken. The overall layout is terrible and lacks the proper flow for a gym. So much so that machines are so close together that it is difficult to add weight or so close to walls that it makes using it difficult. Plate racks never have the appropriate weight on them. Its as if no one on staff understands how a gym functions. OVERALL: If you are considering this as a gym, you have been warned. If it wasn't so convenient for me I would have switched years ago. The truly sad part is this could be a premier location. The potential is there and there is enough space to offer a variety of services not just fitness (wellness, recovery, etc.). More importantly, I would happily pay more on a monthly membership if they just simply upgraded the equipment and the locker rooms. But again, this place is being run by slumlords, so you get what you pay for.

Just beware before pre-purchasing any membership, that they have every limited spots and most days are "waitlist only". It's like this for at last a month out. I kept calling to inquire, and finally the studio manager got back to me, and I asked her if she can roll over the days I won't be able to get in since most of the days were waitlist. The only things she responded with were to gaslight me and say, "well look at it this way, even if you only take 2 classes in your pass, it already pays for itself since one class is $45". I was flabbergasted at her response, that I just laughed it off. No girl, I paid for unlimited classes 7 days, I expect to take at least 1 class for exactly 7 days, whether you have to roll-over the credits due to your over bookings. If you're having issues with not having enough carriages, or your clients overbook, then why advertise to new clients? It's a bait & switch marketing, and scummy. She did help me with delaying my membership start-date to my request. Also she kindly called me early morning the next day to alert me of a slot opening up. Which brings me to my next point, that she eased my concern of "waitlist" bookings, which can open up on the spot or half hour before, even mid-day classes. I'm not a retired person or just laying doing nothing where I can't attend an opening for their waitlist with little notice, or random times in the middle of the day. That comfort gave zero relief to me. I am still waiting to join my first class, and already another issue arises. My 7 day UNLIMITED pass isn't allowing me to book now without prompting me to pay $45. I tried calling, texting, emailing. Nothing. I'll update for any developments.

I was taking an extended vacation to visit a friend of mine in Morristown. My friend took me to a…read morepilates class at Pilates Body and Anina, the owner, was so welcoming and her studio was beautiful & clean. I could tell she has built a strong sense of community there. All of the regulars were also very welcoming and helped me with different exercises even though they didn't even work there. I ended up asking my friend if we could go back to do pilates there together a few more times before I had to return back to San Diego. I'm already looking forward to my next Morristown trip and going back to Pilates Body! I feel way stronger even after just 4 workouts. You can tell the owner and other instructors there take pride in their attention to detail to get you the most efficient results!

The door of this place is very colorful and fun. Studio is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There are cubbies to place your belongings. They have extra mats in case you forget yours (like I did...). The bathroom is clean and spacious. I did the one hour pour hour class and it was just what I needed. A good mix of workout, stretch, and relaxation. Caitlin is an excellent instructor. I enjoy instructors that find that happy medium of pushing you a little, but at the same time making you feel comfortable doing what you can. I LOVE the colorful lights on the ceiling and also the use of essential oils in the end (if you want, you can opt out of the oil). My body and mind feel very good after this class. I came to Be Well with trepidation given my stubborn nature and poor dietary habits. After speaking with Marisa she assured me that it was not as bad as I had originally thought and there was a path forward without wholesale changes to my lifestyle. The plan she gave me was very simple to follow and only slightly tweaked my eating habits. By raising my awareness of things that I should reduce, not remove, I've since been able to lose weight and cut the cholesterol. It was low pressure, low maintenance and highly impactful, thanks for your help!

Once I asked for the refund he then decided to answer me and proceed to tell me there are no refunds and said I needs to find a place for us to train...like dude that's YOUR JOB. He also said to stop trying to get in touch with him. Don't train unless you want to be scammed by Jason/ Jay Foxworth. You think you have a great relationship with your trainer when in reality he is just using and scamming you...so sad

I don't know how I can ever thank Tina enough for how positively she has impacted my life. I have…read moreknown and worked with Tina for the past 21 years, so it will be difficult to keep this review short, believe me, but I will try my best! I first engaged Tina as my physical strength and weight trainer. Her exercise training sessions are amazing in many respects. First, she has kept me in very good shape through her expertise, encouragement, and unending enthusiasm. As a musician I am very protective of my hands and wrists. Tina is always sensitive to this and modifies any exercise that might unduly stress them. This next thing will be hard to believe, but we have never exactly repeated a single exercise session in 21 years! I kid you not. Her imagination and vast knowledge allows her to come up with seemingly endless variations of exercises. Working out with Tina is never boring or rote! At the beginning of our sessions I was suffering from sinus problems and weight gain. Through a series of food eliminations we discovered that I was highly sensitive to dairy products. By suggesting alternative nondairy foods rich in calcium, I was able for the first time in my life to experience the joys of having clear sinuses. As a bonus I almost immediately started to drop weight. For 20 years I have maintained a healthy weight for my height and body type. Tina is also an expert chef and, as with her exercise instruction, has an endless supply of delicious and healthy recipes to share. The basic diet she created for me years ago is still the template I use for cooking to this day. Having turned 60 years old a little while back, I tested as having a rather high glucose level. I was so surprised, but found out that many people my age do. It's very common. Gone unchecked, however, it can lead to more serious consequences like diabetes. Tina assured me that with a few modifications to my diet I could easily reverse the diagnosis. Within 3 months, by limiting refined sugar and many simple carbohydrates, my glucose level returned to a normal rate. No medications required! I LOVE food. I LOVE to cook and to eat. (See my Yelp profile.) Thanks to Tina, at age 63, I am in excellent health, maintaining my weight, and enjoying healthy foods. Tina taught me how to love healthy food and create gourmet meals that I not only enjoy myself, but have no hesitation whatsoever to serve my guests to their total satisfaction and delight. Tina is a rare find in life. She is intelligent, kind, talented, and compassionate. I could not recommend her services more highly!

For almost five years now, I've been suffering from bloating and vomiting that have impeded on a…read morenumber of important things in my life. I never understood what it was--I just tried to learn how to live with it. Nevertheless, I met Tina and she introduced me to something called an "Elimination Diet" where for three weeks you cut out some major ingredients (wheat, corn, soy, pork, beef, refined sugars, etc) and later on reintroduce them separately to see whether or not a specific one induces a reaction. By now you're probably thinking, "But I need my cake," or "Who the hell would agree to that?" But as Tina once told me, "Eating is one of life's greatest pleasures. It should not be painful or frightening. So let's clean out that gut!" By the end of my journey, I can truly say that meeting up with this well-seasoned RD is one of the greatest investments you could ever make--just ask my gut. All jokes aside, Tina sincerely cares about the health of her "patients" (for lack of a better word) and she delivers messages that truly resonate with you. There is no amount of thanks I could ever give to demonstrate my gratitude. But for the sake of this review: THANK YOU, TINA. YOU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE!
