I called Jack for a status update at 1:30 pm since I had not heard from him. Jack forgot about the appointment for today, although he still had my information in his phone, and asked that I refresh his memory of yesterday's conversation and details of the appliance in need of repair, which I did. He was very abrupt with me during the conversation as if I did something wrong. 1st he asked that I give him 30 minutes past the 2 pm time and I agreed. Then he up and said for me to call someone else. This is very bad customer service from the beginning without consideration for what I had to do to make this appointment happen. Sounds as if Jack is not organized, not reliable, but mostly, very unprofessional! Please consider before scheduling anything with Jack.

He said if it keeps acting up let him know and he will order a new mother board. I was charged $125 and he wanted cash. I paid him cash but never got a receipt. Now, the dryer is still acting up. I've called him numerous times and was told he was ordering the mother board. A week has gone by and still no word from him. When I called him again he hung up on me. Now I'm out $125 because I can't claim it with the insurance company because he gave no receipt! I would definitely stay away from this company!

Adams Air Condition & Heating, LLC installed an air conditioning and heating system in my house…read morethat was not properly installed in July of 2021. I had to dispute my credit card payment to Adams A/C before they came back to reposition the inside unit, because the ductwork was sticking out of one of the bedrooms by several inches, because it had not been installed correctly. Adams A/C also agreed to put in an extra vent (which they never did), and put in a new digital thermostat (also which they never did). They gave me a 2 year warranty on parts and labor in the original agreement, which was never honored. No one inspected the initial installation, even though there were a number of things wrong with it. In addition to the positioning of the inside unit, cutting a the new vent and installing a new thermostat, there was excessive sweating in the lines going from the inside of the house to the outside compressor. This excessive sweating of the lines damaged the ceiling tiles and its aluminum framework all along the ceiling under these lines--about 40 feet of ceiling tiles in April, 2022, when the system was still under warranty. When I complained about this to Adams A/C, they did not come out fix it, despite their warranty. They kept putting me off after months of calling and texting them. When I finally complained to Adams A/C's insurance company, the owner of the company came out to my house to talk and dispute any kind of wrongdoing. However, he did not do any kind of hands-on inspection of the system. He told me that the excessive sweating and freezing of the lines was because the system had been run at too low of a temperature, but it was only being run slightly lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the system was capable of running continuously at 65 degrees Fahrenheit. So I started to run the system at just 70 degrees Fahrenheit continuously from that point on. On Friday November 4, 2022, the system froze up again inside and outside after being run at just 70 degrees Fahrenheit for weeks. When I told Adams A/C the system had been run at just 70 degrees but still froze, he told me my thermostat was too old and inaccurate, but they had never installed the new digital thermostat that was part of the original contract. There were ice crystals on the inside copper line coming out of the unit and a 2-inch thick block of ice on the outside line coming out the compressor. I called Adams A/C to deal with the problem, which I indicated was an emergency, but they never came out. I was forced to call another company to correct the problem, who told me that the system had to be shut down for a couple of hours to unfreeze. The new company came out that day and checked the freon levels and discovered that the freon was low and had to be filled to prevent freezing of the system again The freon should have been properly filled initially by Adams A/C when they installed the unit, and they should have checked it again over the intervening months according to their 2-year warranty. I had to pay several hundred dollars out-of-pocket for outside professional advice and work on a system that was installed improperly and that was still under warranty. The work Adams A/C initially promised to do by contract was never completed. My overall impression of Adams Air Condition & Heating, LLC is that they promise a lot initially to get the job, they charge much more than what they quote as their original estimate, they do quick but shoddy work, they are unresponsive to complaints or requests for warranty work, they try to blame the homeowner for the problems with the A/C system, and they do not honor their warranties.

I worked directly with Chris (who is one of the owners) and the process was great. He offered me choices and I picked what worked in my space and my budget. His team delivered on time and did a great job with the installs. In fact, I needed him again when my refrigerator and washing machine in my rental unit also decided to give up. Easy to deal with and clear communication.

I took the part with me to confirm its exact match. It was and now Mom has her oven working like new for $35. Ioan did an amazing job taking down our crumbling chimney to under the roof line. He somehow found the exact special order roof shingles we have for the roof repair, so everything matches perfectly. He also sealed up our interior fireplaces and went above and beyond to make sure they look awesome. We also had him clean out all the lint from our dryers and all the gunk in our gutters.
