I wish I could give more than 5 stars!…read more I have been patient in looking to add a kitten/cat to our family and stumbled across Marigold on a fosters Instagram page which prompted me to submit an application. Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.

I called with a simple question about rehoming a cat for a family member and was surprised by how…read morehostile and judgmental the interaction was. I was cut off, accused of wanting to "dump a cat," and spoken to in an unprofessional manner. The experience felt unnecessarily confrontational and upsetting. Unfortunately, I would not recommend based on this interaction.

I can't say enough amazing things about Lovely Hearts! This incredible nonprofit gifted me a trip…read moreto Cambodia, where I had the opportunity to visit breath taking temples and sacred sites while also giving back to the local community. We visited both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Able to get a deep dive into the world of Cambodia. One of the most impactful partss of the trip was volunteering at schools, where I got too connect with children and help those who are less fortunate. Seeing the smiles on their faces and experiencing their warmth was truly humbling. Lovely Hearts made sure everything was well organized, from travel logistics to meaningful service opportunities, making this both an eye-opening and deeply fulfilling experience. If you're looking for an organization that truly changes lives....both for volunteers and the people they serve.....Lovely Hearts is it. Thank you for giving me a chance to see the world in a new way. #NonProfit #GiveBack #Cambodia #TravelWithPurpose #LovelyHearts

From the owner: Our Nonprofit is on a mission to bridge communities through education empowerment, community…read moreservice, and purposeful tourism. We help you get engaged in helping your own community with your own talents and strengths, while helping connect you to a bigger world, where you can take a tour with us to Cambodia to help out, building water wells, helping at schools, seeing Temples, and all that your heart desires. We are unique because our tours are individualized with your interests, which is also how we help bridge people with community service. We make sure you have a wonderful, good experience and feel more connected with your community. We raise money to give back to our communities by being hands on. Our goal is to not only empower through learning and education endeavors, but to also help individuals learn more about other helpful programs, while potentially even getting the training and experience you need to apply for a job or to elevate your experience. We try to attend events and street fairs, while making sure our community members feel cared for and connected. Our first year we raised over $13k on our mission. All the money raised was given back to the community. Our current international projects are mostly in Cambodia, where we have build an NGO from the ground up, have set up educational classes at Tiny Toones Cambodia, and we hope to continue expanding. This year, we were already able to gift a volunteer scholarship for an application to help in Cambodia.

This experience meant everything to me and my family. Coco had to undergo a fracture repair, and…read morewhile it was such a scary time, she is now doing well and I'm so excited to see her continue to recover and heal. Helping Paws Foundation truly changed everything for us. As a military family, unexpected medical costs can be overwhelming, and their financial assistance made it possible for Coco to receive the care she needed. What they do to help families stay together with their pets during difficult times is incredibly special and deeply appreciated. Dr. Souther provided amazing care and gave me so much confidence throughout the process. Christina, the executive director, was so gentle and attentive, and it was clear how much she truly cared. I will always be thankful for the compassion, support, and kindness we were shown. Coco is healing, and that means the world to us.

My Name is Albert and I am a U.S. Army Veteran that was in Desperate need of help for my Frenchie…read moreToro. I had been treating my Frenchie for a Sarcoma like Cancer that had returned immediately after having another Vet remove an Ulcer like growth. Unfortunately, once it returned I had no idea or money for another solution. I had already spent hundreds of dollars and had no other financial way to help him. I somehow came across the Helpingpawssandiego.org and emailed them for any help I could get. They quickly responded to my email, asked for some basic information and then set up an appointment with a Veterinarian of their choice. I went to the appointment and met such an amazing team that saw the desperation in my eyes. I had no financial means to help my Toro and they made sure to tell me that they would find a way to help me. Unfortunately due to the severity of my Toros Cancer, I made the Difficult decision to let him cross the rainbow bridge. The team assured me that they would not be leaving me with a massive bill, instead they helped sponsor my Toros care. I cannot tell you how Thankful I am for this organization. If you or anybody you know is a Veteran and is in need of assistance due to financial hardship, please reach out to Helpingpawssandiego.org I will forever be grateful for what they did to help me get through this incredibly difficult time. I will also be donating to Helpingpaws, to help pay it forward for another Veteran that will be in need.
