I thought maybe she had a bad day, but my husband saw her on a different day and when he emerged from his appointment he said "I never want to see her again, that was horrible." Again, he went in for one issue and she decided to focus on his cholesterol at 161 which is not even high. But she began to scribble on her note pad to take fish oil, (he said, I took one this morning and her response was "you should have taken 2) flax seed and get a follow up appointment to have labs drawn again. My husband is 60 years old, 6'1, 195 pounds and 15% body fat, impeccable labs, great blood pressure and very low PSA lab because he takes HRT. I would caution anyone from choosing this provider if you don't like being talked down to, berated and intimidated. I have nothing positive to say except we will never be back in her office again.

The front office is abysmal, you can't get through to anyone on the phone. I have had to drive to the office more than once to get a question about a refill request or get copies of paperwork because it is absolutely impossible to talk to someone without waiting on the phone for a half hour or more (I'm not exaggerating). They now have a policy which requires you to confirm an appointment 24 hours before the scheduled time or they will cancel it without notifying you. I just left the office after being told my appointment, which I confirmed in person a week ago, had been cancelled. I tried to call and confirm it yesterday but, once again, no answer. No apology, no sympathy, just, "the soonest I have is 2 weeks out." Great doctors, if you can get in to see one.

Also, she gives you paperwork to fill out "it's a survey on depression" and tells you that your insurance requires it, however, I called my insurance and they know nothing about it. Also, if you call in for an appt because your sick she tells you that you MUST stay in your car upon arrival, call and they will come get you. This lady will without a doubt create issues for Dr. Scherer going forward as your first point of contact is the front office, whether on the phone or in person. However, if you can get passed all this, than 100% you are in the best care possible. The medical team is awesome!

I am in my 40's and have had (like most people my age) a few medical issues that I have had to address. Consequently, I have had many encounters with various Doctors over a long period of time. I have NEVER come across a Doctor like Dr. Silkey. She has the perfect balance of intelligence, knowledge and a deep (very deep) caring for her patients. They keep pretty closely to the scheduled visit time. I did not, however, get a doctor for the first 3 years after starting my initial yearly visits but a PA instead. I was not particularly happy about that but the PA did a good exam. I have never met Doctor Singh but in 2024, I was examined by a doctor. He did a thorough exam. I should also mention that I have consulted with them via zoom app; the link was forwarded to me by AFC because I had a cold and was not able to go to the office. This year, 2026, I started seeing Doctor B. I like him. He is professional, friendly and took the time to listen to me. The front desk girl is also professional, polite and patient. Qualities you really need working the front desk. The office is always clean and tidy as well as the exam rooms. I go to All Family Care for my general health check ups.
