Sorrento Luxury Charter

Ever wanted to feel like a superstar celebrity or rock star? Well when we took a luxury charter…read morewith Sorrento Luxury Day Charter and Tours, that is exactly how Robbie and his crew made us feel! You'll be on the Tornado 45 Express, a very sleek and luxurious all-white boat. The boat is fully stocked with drinks and small bites and so you can enjoy an impressive array of saltine snacks while indulging on some prosecco or champagne. I mean how cool is that? The ride is so smooth. I normally get sea-sick on any type of vessel but because of Robbie's handling of the boat and the boat's spacious and very luxurious area, I felt fresh as a daisy throughout. After you've taken a dip in that crystal clear blue water, you can use the boat's built-in shower spray to get fresh and clean for the next destination. Definitely got a kick out of that! Honestly you'll get a fair share of people gawking and looking at your charter because how many people can say they had a private luxury boat to themselves? Well, you can once you take a trip with them. Robbie really is the man. He's inherited the business from his father and has been manning Luxury Charter for 10 years now. He and his father have had some of the most high-profile clientele including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Serena Williams, and more! Knowing that, I totally understand why celebrities would want to book with Robbie. He truly makes anyone, from the A-list celebs to regular tourists like us, feel like a million bucks. For the social media savvy, Robbie knows the best spots to get that perfect profile picture for Facebook or get that stellar photo you need to get a ton of likes in Instagram. He'll even take the picture for you and get you in the right poses. He should know, he's pretty active of Facebook and Instagram himself! After traveling with Robbie and Sorrento Luxury Day Charter and Tours, I am convinced there is only one true way to explore the South of Italy. To be truly uninhibited and to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I recommend booking a trip with them. You won't regret it and you'll definitely never forget it. Worth every euro. I can't wait to go on another boat ride with them!

During…read moreour 5 days in the Amalfi Coast we had 2 charters with Sorrento Luxury Charters - one full day Capri Boat Trip and one full day on the Amalfi Coast celebrating my birthday. I worked with Adele beforehand to make all the arrangements as I am located in the US. She was very professional, provided full details about what would be included with the charter, and worked with me to build a custom schedule for my birthday. Communication beforehand was great, and we were blown away to find out they were offering an upgrade from the 35 ft Gagliotta to the 45 ft Tornado Express for our trip to Capri. Although I have no doubt every boat in Robbie's fleet is absolutely flawless. As expected, Rosa met us at the dock the morning of our departure and when we returned that evening to make sure we had everything we needed. The boat was absolutely gorgeous and the Captain, Eduardo, was simply the best! He was charming and engaging always making sure he stopped to show us the best places along the way and finding little coves for us to stop and swim, a waterfall, taking pictures for us at each spot, and taking us to the absolute best restaurants we ate at during our entire trip. He also made sure we had plenty of snacks and drinks throughout our trip and wanted for nothing. Little did I know that my friend had coordinated with Adele and team to make arrangements for our second trip - making sure that my favorite drinks were onboard, as well as a birthday cake, sparkler candles, a balloon and more! After returning from a stop to swim, Eduardo and his assistant surprised me by bringing out the birthday cake, balloon, and singing Happy Birthday! I cannot describe what an amazing day it was and how much the Sorrento Luxury Charter team did to ensure it was unforgettable. If you have any hesitation in booking with them - don't - they are absolutely the best in the business. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions!

LaMax Tours Private Transfers and Excursions is a class act. My family and I enjoyed the services of LaMax Tours THREE TIMES during our tour of the Sorrentine Peninsula. My famiglia and I are so grateful to have found Lara and Max. They are the most lovely people to drive around Italy with. They are both excellent and safe drivers and are extremely knowledgeable guides. There were so many highlights of our trip many of which would not have happened without the guidance of LaMax Tours. With LaMax Tours, the experience during the journey is a destination in itself!!! The first trip with LaMax was from Naples to Sant'Agnello with Massimo (Max). My bag did not arrive when I landed at the Naples Airport. Max waited patiently for me while I filed paper work with the baggage office. It was about an hour later than planned before I was able to exit the airport and meet Max. He was waiting patiently right where I exited. I was concerned and apologetic about keeping him waiting. Max greeted me with a smile and quickly put me at ease. I think the first thing he said was "No problem, welcome to Italy." The airport transfer to Sant'Agnello was a tour in itself. Max and I talked about pizza secrets and local food and wine and pointed left and right as we passed Vesuvius, Pompeii, and some beautiful coastal Italian countryside. A few days later, Lara picked up my family from Amalfi for a trip to see the ancient ruins at Paestum and visit the majestic water bufala. My mother was apprehensive about traversing one of the most dramatic coastal roads in the world with a stranger. This stranger soon became a friend. Heights and winding mountainous roads are a bit outside of Mom's comfort zone. We were all at ease with Lara as our pilot. Our first stop was Minori. We were looking for some cappuccino and pastry, and Lara knew just the place for us. Mama mia... we had the best coffee and pastry imaginable... scordatelo [forget about it!]. As we proceeded down the winding coast, Lara told us how her Father was the first driver to drive a large bus on the very route we were taking. It was clear that safe and professional driving on the Amalfi coast was in her blood. We proceeded through Salerno to the ruins at Paestum listening to anecdotes and tidbits about the areas we were passing through. Lara waited patiently as we strolled leisurely through Paestum and then took us to visit a farm where water bufala are raised. We made friends with one of the bufala and enjoyed some of the freshest and most delicious mozzarella imaginable. From there, Lara took us to Ravello and dropped us off right near the entrance to Villa Rufolo. We all had a blast that day. Our last tour with LaMax was from Positano back to Naples with Lara. Lara picked us up early and got me back to the Naples Airport exactly when I wanted to be there. Then, Lara got the rest of the group to the train station. Our early morning exit from the Amalfi coast could not have gone smoother, thanks to LaMax Tours.

We booked an all day excursion with Lara who picked us up at the cruise terminal and took us all over. She drove us to Positano where she parked and gave us time to explore on our own. She then drove us down the Amalfi Coast which was stunning. She stopped along the way for us to take pictures and buy goodies from local vendors. On the way back she dropped us at Pompeii and waited for us. Lara answered all of our questions and was full of information. She will take you where you want to go or recommend places if you don't know what to do. I would definitely recommend Lara or her husband Max for a day of adventure if you are traveling to Naples.

The private tour was amazingggg!! Tony picked us up from our hotel in Sorrento, was very punctual, professional, and friendly. His car was well-kept, had a/c, with plenty of water available, and he was a very cautious driver (not what we were used to in Italy)!! I was quite nervous about getting car sick with the steep winding roads I had heard so much about, but Tony drove nice and slow and I didn't feel sick the entire trip (not for one minute). Was VERY happy I chose to hire a driver over using the bus system. He drove us first to Positano (to arrive and sight-see before all the crowds), then to the Amalfi Coast, and then to Ravello. On the way from one city to the next (about an hour in between each), Tony talked to us about the history of each city, along with interesting facts. He was VERY knowledgeable- really a wealth of knowledge- which he gathered not just from growing up in Italy, but from reading history books in his free time. At each city you had anywhere from 1-2 hours to get out and walk around on your own (without Tony). He was great at suggesting places to eat- so specific for anything you wanted, he clearly was VERY familiar with each city. (I.e. we wanted a cone of calamari in Amalfi, he told us to "get out, walk straight and go to the SECOND calamari place we came across on the left, not the first"). Because I was interested in purchasing some ceramic work from the area, he even stopped at one of the biggest (and nicest) ceramic stores on the way back to our hotel, after all 3 cities. Really, really awesome private tour- we loved Tony!!! I would recommend this tour to anyone, it was definitely worth the money. He definitely went out of his way to make sure the day was tailored to us and our needs, and to make sure we had the best day possible.
