Do Not ever trust them, if they call you and tell you your balance and ask you to mail it, expect a call in 3 months saying you were short, even though you gave them exactly what they ask for.. Once they have your name and phone number, they will continue to call and ask for more. Go into their rinky dink office a pay in person.. Get a receipt saying Paid in Full.. They will use the excuse "did you get a bill with that amount?? " When they clearly tell you over the phone how much you owe and ask you to send a check.. Scammers.. Shysters... Total Crooks... Scum collection attorney. Tried to file cases for same balance THAT WAS PAID IN FULL! Refused to accept documentation until I threatened to report.... Attorney Michael R. Naughton of Manhattan Il,and his receptionist which will not tell me who she is,have not notified me of court dates, has amitted that she is aware of the payments that I have payed. Instead of taking these payments off my balance, the firm has went to the court system and asked for judgement for a lot more than I owe . Witch they took from my check, and refuse to discuss. I'd give this guy a negative rating if I could. He is highly unethical and does not honor agreements. He couldn't even provide a simple statement of the charges he was suing me for. After I waited for several weeks, he gave me a nearly illegible statement and told me I had no choice but to pay because the charges were too old to dispute. The hospital billed incorrectly and never sent a bill to me to even know the balance was due. I set up a payment plan and even though I made the payments, he still garnished my wages. What a fat piece of crap. My suggestion is to disputed everything he says. Drag it out. And then he'll garnish your wages anyways and treat you like garbage. If I could put -stars I would. This law office is a total joke and the office staff is completely rude and disrespectful and should all be ashamed of themselves. I had made EVERY payment on time and my last payment got returned because I mailed it to their physical address and not mailing address since they're PO Box isn't listed online and couldn't recall the PO I had sent it to before. I sent the POST MARKED letter to show it would have been on time including the check and the check for the next month(due 7/1 and sent on 6/19) and I called to inform them considering I got the late notice and returned check the same day and they ended up sending me a wage deduction summons. $500 paid on time if not paid early and the one time it gets returned because this joke of an office doesn't put their mailing address online and nothing gets mailed to a physical.
