They will use the excuse "did you get a bill with that amount?? " When they clearly tell you over the phone how much you owe and ask you to send a check.. Scammers.. Shysters... Total Crooks... I'm talking $155 a month just for 50 mbps down with 5 mbps up and a 3 tb data plan. Was $55 a month but that only came with a 1 tb plan which anyone doing more than browsing facebook is going to exceed. Fast forward to this year, and I began to get promos in the mail for this new ISP moving into our area. Offered the same plan as the one I had with Kraus for $100 less. Right when I was about to switch to them, surprise surprise Kraus sends out a letter saying they're lowering everyone's bills and no longer have data caps on their plans. Wow! What a coincidence they decide to do this as soon as they finally get some competition in the area! And this is just the pricing, I haven't even gotten into how much their service drops out. I've lived in many areas of the U.S. and I've never had an ISP whose connection drops as much as these guys. If there is a minor breeze outside you will lose internet. They are an extremely predatory ISP. If you have other options stay away. The only company I'd say they're better than is AT&T, so if that's your only other option then I guess go with Kraus.
