Now, there is no one can prescribe my daily Thyroid medications. Last time I saw my doctor was in May 2023. Then he left the facility and I immediately made an appointment with a new doctor. The closest option was March 2024, so I picked that date. Now, I ran out my daily meds already, and they refuse to prescribe them before seeing a new doctor. I have to take my Thyroid meds every day and they supposed to prescribe it until my annual check up. They do no care about patient care. I do not recommend this place.

I asked for confirmation and she only repeated my first name, which still did not sound correct. Upon being taken back to get my labs done she asked which arm I preferred. I wasn't sure and took about 5 seconds or less to think and she told me to "hurry up and pick one - there are people waiting to get their labs done in the waiting room". I was taken aback and so surprised by the rudeness I could only stare back and was barely able to get out "the right arm". She was wearing a mask and it was hard to understand her without seeing her face, but I could tell she never smiled with her eyes. The taking of the labs which is usually no big deal was replaced by a very painful experience. I've never hurt that badly before when taking labs. My arm is very sore and bruised. The first letter of my last name on the vial was covered up, so when trying to confirm it was correct I had to confirm but pointed out that part of my name was covered up and unreadable. I left feeling disappointed and saddened that someone would treat a patient this way. It may seem like a small thing, but for whatever reason it made me feel bad and makes me not want to return for fear of having the same person with the same experience.

I read other reviews posted online regarding Dr. Lambrechts prior to selecting him for consultation/opinion. He overwhelmingly received 5 Star Ratings in other reviews. I found those reviews to be consistent with my interaction with him during my visit. Dr. Lambrechts discussed future procedures and tests with me; and provided an overall explanation of the health of my spine. Moreover, I found him to be an excellent listener/doer and cared about his patients. Dr. Lambrechts is a role model to others in the medical field. I was at my wits end regarding serious concerns/issues still lingering for nearly two years ago. He provided me with hope and a positive outlook on my physical and mental health, and a sense of calm. He is truly a jewel. I would recommend him to others seeking not just an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon but one you would respect for going above and beyond in administering care. Kudos, Dr. Lambrechts, MD!!! Kimberly B.

He threw his pen on the counter, whirled around and asked why I stopped seeing the other doctor. I started telling him about some things that had happened that really upset me. He kept interrupting me to defend the other doctor, and was argumentative to the point I couldn't even tell him what happened. He invalidated my feelings, invalidated me as a patient and invalidated me as a person. During the rest of the appt he made unnecessary rude remarks. That was one of the worst Dr appts I've ever had. I will never return. I don't recommend anyone see him. He's the sort of Dr you should avoid

The ex has ADHD and is treated for it, but his dosage is incorrect and continually increased to the point where he talks a mile a minute and is high as a kite every day. He also consumes 4-6 cups of coffee per day plus daily coke (soft drink), which I'm sure that he neglects to mention to the Dr. His addiction to adrenaline is a real thing, which the family and I must deal with every day! I would suggest that the physician delve a little deeper rather than just hand out pills. The effects of being improperly medicated are the responsibilty of the presciber.

But it also caused pain when I sollow. She changed my diabetes medication also this caused diarrhea. I'm allergic to the new medication she ordered I told her that's why other doctors never give me the meds she prescribed. Normally once a doctor finds out your allergic they wont give that medication to you. So, Went back yesterday August 17 to have her fix these issues. And remove me from the meds that im allergic to. Now Upon entering the building they take your temperature and ask a few questions. I was told I dont have a temp. Do you have a sore throat or diarrhea? My answer yes that's why I'm back. I secured this appointment because Dr. gave me meds im allergic to. I'd like off this medication it's making matters worse. Well the good doctor proclaimed I have covid 19 & I should not be allowed back into the building. She refused a phone conversation or a video chat. Cowardly she remained in her office upstairs. Understand if you get a diagnosis such as this its devastating. She offered no comfort at all. Just nope your not seeing me get out. Her office staff treated me as if I have some flesh eating virus. Her recommendations was go to the emergency room. Apparently she never read my medical file I have lupus my system is low. The last place I need to go is a hospital. Past doctors orders are that I not be around children because my system is low. Doctors from my past did not allow me to go to the ER before it was a pandemic so I'm wise enough not to go now. Let's say I did go to the emergency room And tell them what that my moron of a doctor placed me on meds im allergic to. Im having a allergic reaction and she's not woman enough to fix her own mistakes. I'm not going to the emergency room just for diarrhea. People at the emergency room they need emergency care. Who goes to the emergency room when it's not a emergency. Well I'm happy to report I simply threw the meds in the trash. It's been 3 days off her meds my diarrhea is completely gone. It's sad that I was treated so badly. They have obtained one star from me. When sick I expect to go to my doctor for help. This doctor made my situation worse she created harm. At this point she did not have to see me to switch my medication. She could have simply called in new medicine to my pharmacy. She would not even do that much. It was like oh you have covid 19 go die silently someplace else. So I called my insurance obtained a new physician. Do not settle for bad treatment. I didn't.

When I arrived, I explained that it felt like something was stuck in my throat or airway. I was told - verbatim - that they "wouldn't touch me with a 10-foot pole." That was shocking and unprofessional. Instead of evaluating me, they immediately directed me to the ER. The ER visit ended up costing me $800, where I waited about two hours only to be prescribed amoxicillin - something the urgent care could have easily done themselves. Later, when I saw an ENT, I was told my symptoms were due to acid reflux. My symptoms had already been present for three days, so it clearly was not an emergency airway obstruction. It's frustrating that neither the urgent care nor the ER considered reflux as a possibility before escalating the situation. Being told they "didn't want to take my money" feels ironic, considering I was sent somewhere significantly more expensive for essentially the same level of care. I would not recommend this facility. Patients deserve to feel evaluated and respected - not dismissed.

It is sad how dirty the "cleaning" of the facility results in new health concerns. Every doctor walks in as a general hospital doctor and usually the first words out of their mouth is we will be moving forward to PT rehab BEFORE assessing the complete issue with the patient. The last straw was when my husband was 2 days away from discharge. SOMEONE turned his bed alarm OFF. He fell and broke his hip. Now we are going backwards to try to get him stabilized to be released for PT rehab. When he was complete with hip surgery it took 8hrs for them to move him to a bed. I sat at the family waiting room ON the floor he was assigned and watched 45-60 min NOTHING going on to proceed with room readiness. 8 hrs after his surgery he is given a room. It will take 12 more hrs to get a water cup with a straw. After I requested it 3 times the first night and 2 times in the morning. Sad what used to be a premiere hospital fall below average trauma hospitals. BJC should be investigated for cleanliness, proper care of patients, and COMMON courtesy!
