They came to look at the job Friday as promised. This business is licensed, insured, & gave me a very fair-priced quote. After going home briefly, returning within the hour, & the job was done yet Friday afternoon. This hedge was old with deep roots; others had looked at the job & ghosted me. Now my siding & window contractor will not be required longer to struggle with the hedge in their way. I will not hesitate to use PK & Son services again & highly recommend them.

There were near missed accidents, they blocked our mailbox, garbage/recycling bins. I informed a worker and they FINALLY parked in their driveway. When they brought in a skidster they parked on our lawn and my next door neighbors yard, causing ruts. I asked a chubby Mexican worker if they would fix this mess, he said they would. Well they left the site at noon today, leaving us neighbors across from the site/street pissed. My husband is out there fixing the damage they caused right now. Retaining walls are leaning and sinking. Steps are shifting. Mike inspected the site and promised to take care of it. He looked us in the eye and said "I want to have happy customers. I will take care of it". However, 1stChoice continued to make excuses, made no attempt to fix the problems and ignored our requests to fix the problems. Mike lied in his response to our Better Business Bureau complaint, and he did not even bother to respond to our Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection complaint. Two different landscapers were consulted and both indicated the site is a mess and will require a total removal and reinstallation.

I spoke to them in April about replacing things. Also one of my yew bushes died and that needed replacement as well. I am not exaggerating when I say I called 20 times or more to get them to come out and replace the landscaping. They never returned me calls and I suspect it wasn't a big enough project for them to want to come out. Here's the thing, I bought the landscaping from them so I was stuck to have them take care of it in follow up. I have NEVER had to call multiple times to get work done with no response. It truly was unbelievable. The person that answered the phones near me by name and was always very embarrassed that they did not get back to me. it was the the fault of The actual landscape designers. The designers just wouldn't call back. I would never recommend this landscaping company. They don't follow up or follow through with their work. I still have landscaping that needs to be done and at this point I'm going to pay someone else to do it. Of note, I already paid them to do the work upfront because I thought that would make them come out faster. That was a big mistake as well. When I moved to Green Bay 20 years ago I was told that they were the best. That is why I picked them for this landscaping project and I regret it thoroughly. I would also like to say I was always very polite every time I called. I know being rude and complaining doesn't get you anywhere in this day and age.
