I'm so blessed to have found out about this small on the outside but mighty on the inside Catholic store. They have a big variety of different saints that I couldn't find anywhere else. This family owned business is very welcoming and kind. Gavin, the son of this ma and pap shop, is the sweetest, most caring person. Thank you, God, for bringing me here. Right as I walked in, he was all smiles and helped me with everything I was looking for and more. I've recently realized i wasn't being a good daughter to my father. The only one who matters. Gavin has compassion and amazing advice. At one point, he reminded me about my parking meter. I thought I was good but didn't realize how much time passed. I went out there to check, and sure enough, Gavin was right, or should i say God was. As I was putting more coins in the meter, the maid went by. God is good. I was so close to a ticket but praise the Lord for using Gavin to speak to me and not just about the parking meter but about so much more. God's timing is always right. Today, I made my way out to my favorite store, Nature's Storehouse / Catholic Storehouse in downtown Chula Vista. It's owned by my beloved friend, Gavin George and his family. Many people do not realize there is a catholic goods store in our area. There is so much to take in; from the friendly service, the abundance of Catholic goods as well as natural vitamins and essential oils. Not only is it an emporium of blessed things to purchase, but there is also a chapel built within (and an incredible backstory as to how it came to be there). With a gorgeous elemental statue of our lady of Fatima as it's focal point, the grotto-like chapel emits a heavenly ambiance. So much so, that I tear up in absolute adoration and veneration, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. If you have the opportunity to check it out, please do. They are currently open Monday-Saturday from 9am-3pm. And At 2pm on Fridays they say the rosary and the stations of the cross. An aisle of some natural herbs and supplements, however it is mainly a religious shop that houses all your needs if looking for patron saint statues of all sizes, literature and if time forbids, there is a little chapel in the back of the store for solemn prayer. A hidden gem in Chula Vista! I've been comming to this store for the last two years. Gavin and his family are so kind each time I visit. It's a great place to purchase bibles, prayer cards, devotional statues, sacramental gifts, rosaries, or even just spiritual upliftment for friends (You name it! They have everything.) My husband and I bought our unity candle here for our wedding. Every time I visit I always walk out with something worthwhile. Sometimes the chapel in the back of the store is a great way to spend time to reflect after a long day. I was looking for some rosary made of all of wood, so I stopped by this place to check out there selection since it was recommended by another store. I was surprised to find the same i'll live would rosary that they sell on Vatican gift.com at a much much lower price, so picked up a few. Then I met the owner son, Gavin, who explained they also have organic teas and supplements, So I picked up some as well. Now I can't wait to get home and use my new Olivewood rosary as well as drink my turmeric and ginger tea. The place is very nice as well as the owners, they also have a chapel in the back where you can get thanks to the Lord and father Almighty.
