Welcoming, kind, comforting atmosphere. Lot's of great organic food options and gluten-free friendly!

Well laid out store with a big variety of pretty much anything organic, vegetarian and vegan. They have fresh groceries, meats, oils, vitamins, teas etc. They had coffee from St. Lawrence Valley Roasters which was on my list of local items to buy. Bonus to them for grinding it for me as well. They also had meats in a cooler for sale from nearby 8 O'Clock Ranch. The employees were very friendly and the inside space reminded me of an old pharmacy. They had plenty of people to help and overall I would recommend stopping here for fresh local grocery items or just to check their inventory out! Every town should have a store like this. read more

Absolutely love Nature's Storehouse. I've frequented the store for 30 years, recommend them to my natural health clients and students, and I have watched Nature's change owners twice in 30 years. Delicious baked goods, great coffee, and an amazing assortment of nourishing foods and self-care goodies that feel ethically right. In surviving breast cancer this year, I decided to completely change several of my lifestyle choices. One very important change was my diet and what I put in and on my body. I was so pleased to discover Natures Storehouse's amazing selection of raw, organic, non-GMO products. They have high quality, always fresh produce, meats, cheeses, eggs, pastas, dried fruits and grains, spices, nuts, pantry items.....and so much more. Everything I need to sustain my post cancer dietary needs; at fair prices. They also have a great selection of supplements and vitamins as well as natural body care products. Shampoos, Conditioners, soaps, lotions, body scrubs, oils - all non-animal tested. A nice selection of essential oils and incense. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Although I have not partaken of their home-made daily soups and wraps, I am sure they are just as wonderful as everything else this location has to offer. Natures Storehouse has been a true gift and has become my one stop shop for so many of my daily dietary needs and safe/clean products for my daily care. read more

Terrible service. Exorbitantly priced. Will be shopping at Healthy Way in Massena from now on. Was exceptionally rude with regards to masks even though a mask mandate is no longer an effect for the state. Was not sensitive to the fact that customer may have had exemptions due to a disability. Was not going to pursue it. Would rather shop at Amazon then support this company. Disgusted and horrified. read more

This is the only organic/ natural store in the area. They carry a decent variety. Ranging from loose leaf teas, essential oils, vitamins, and even raw, organic meats, chief Jen and vegetables.They also serve prepared soups, salads and sandwiches if you want to pick something up for lunch. I haven't tried them yet but they looked pretty good. The store is very small but gets the job done. The employees always give a warm greeting when you enter and more than eager to help you if needed. I enjoy going in there but they are not cheap ( you get what you pay for). Being that there are no immediate alternatives in the area I'm grateful that this is here and has so many of the items I use regularly. Of course, I'll be a regular here. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this store. I am not from the area but stopped in and the selection was great, and for a small store, prices are not bad. The food they prepare is delicious, usually a wrap with Tofu is just OK but they really know what they are doing. Good service too. read more

This place was very sweet. They had a wide selection of foods, including prepared foods and staples. There was a local/organic produce section with fresh turnips, beets, brussel sprouts, and others - this was impressive given that it was mid-Februrary. I was especially interested in the prepared foods. I bought a vegan sushi box, and 1/2 pint each of edamame salad and quinoa-beet salad, and a single-sized loaf of bread. The salads were quite delicious and the bread was very soft and fresh. The sushi was very healthy and well prepared but a bit bland, flavor-wise. A highlight of my visit was a friendly chat with one of the employees - she discussed with me the challenges of obtaining local produce year round - by April or so, they have to use produce shipped from out of town, due to the long winter. The prices were in line with health markets/small groceries, and were generally similar to what would be found in Whole Foods in other locales. I definitely recommend a visit here to any foodies or natural food lovers. read more
