FDA approved, yes, but that can mean (example) vit C in product, but perhaps only a 1% of the needed daily amt. I have been using Nature's Plus Ultra Hair for many years and am very happy with its results. But what prompted me to write this review isn't the quality of the product, but rather the service I recently received from the company's QA Customer Care coordinator, Mr. Art Dupree. There was actually a quality problem with the most recent Ultra Hair bottle I had, and after I called the company and the case was looked at by Mr Dupree, his decisions and care were outstanding, and he bent over backwards to make things right. For decades I have taken a Mega B-150 timed release tablet as part of my vitamin regimen. I have bought it from Puritan's Pride. Then a few months ago they discontinued it. I checked again a couple of weeks ago and spoke w/ a woman in customer service, who confirmed it. She said something, I can't remember what, that made me realize, belatedly, that they had been selling it but not manufacturing it. In the meantime, I checked Costco online and found that they sold a Super Vitamin B Complex, so I bought a bottle and put it away until I finished my last bottle of the Puritan's Pride, which I did about a week ago. When I looked at the Costco bottle, I saw that the amounts of each component were a fraction of what I had been taking, even if I took two tablets rather than the one they recommended. I decided to check online, searching for Mega B-150, since the penny had dropped that Puritan's Pride hadn't been manufacturing it. Sure enough, NaturesPlus offered it. I bought two bottles, which arrived today. I liked that the packing material was recyclable crumpled paper rather than Styrofoam peanuts, which Puritan's Pride uses. I opened a bottle and it looked exactly like what I'm used to. I took the other bottle back to Costco, explained the circumstances and they took it back, as Costco always does. I had taken maybe 10-12 tablets. I am very pleased to have found NaturesPlus and will continue buying this from them. read more

I have been buying this company's multiple vitamins for years. They're one of the few chewable adult vitamins I could find. A few months ago I opened a new jar and the vitamin's taste was awful. I thought it was me. For two days I gave it a shot, shaking the jar to get ones from different parts of the bottle. Each one was just horrible; I had to spit it out. I called the company, no response. I sent an email describing the situation. A few days later I received a message that I needed to call to discuss the situation. I called and spent several minutes describing the situation to their customer service person. She offered no clues as to what the problem was. She said I should return the vitamins and scheduled a UPS pick-up. Several days went by and no UPS service. I called again. Had to describe the situation to the same woman. This time she did fess up to a batch of vitamins being produced that were missing some key ingredient. Perhaps a taste that covers bitterness and makes them "chewable?" It took about two weeks for a UPS person to pick up the vitamins. After waiting another week I called to check that they'd received my vitamins and inquired when a replacement would arrive. A few days later a replacement arrived with a note saying that the vitamins were a courtesy of the company. What??? I waited about a month for them to retrieve and replace horrible vitamins. They gave me nothing as a courtesy. I paid about $20/bottle for years. A loyal customer. I wrote the owner of the company describing the whole situation and still have not received a response. So, I will never buy another Nature's Plus product. When we live in a competitive environment a lot does come down to how we are treated as consumers. And Nature's Plus DOES NOT know how to treat its customers. read more

I bought the spirutein chocolate only to find out it had soy as an ingredient. It says on the labeling that its GMO and that is a lie. I will return this product back to the store due to GMO ingredients. read more

I have used the Source of Life Vitamins for the last 15 years. They have reduced the number of colds, sore throats and other maladies that I used to have every year before I started taking them. I bought a bottle at HEB in Houston in April, and unlike previous bottles, the shiny, smooth coating had not been applied, and the vitamins were breaking apart in the bottle. The vitamins are big, so without the coating, they were hard to swallow. I emailed Nature's Plus, and they stood behind their product. They shipped me a new bottle with the great vitamins I have come to know and love, and had me ship back the defective bottle. There was no argument or problem. I will be buying these vitamins for the rest of my life, which I believe will be a long one thanks to Nature's Plus. read more
