A right amount of parking and I found a spot close to the entrance. How did I come across Quere Massage honestly a screenshot from a friend since I've been complaining about my shoulder on and off but more often now than before. Not to mention my lower back started hurting along with my legs feeling right, well now to the good stuff lol. Everything was nice and clean great service. Not sure if it's "Q" or "Qu" I should have clarified next time lol. Oh yes there will be a next time, I mean from beginning to end it was great. Everything was explained my concerns we're addressed, I might try deep tissue next because I have knots that need to be worked out. I was told I carry my stress in my upper back which then causes tension and my glutes we're just right which contributes to lower back pain. Suggestion on the way I sleep to help eliminate some of the stress to keep my body aligned but don't read my post. Look him up on IG quremassage and just book the appointment, we need to take time out for self-care and not wait until our body screams at us to do so

Not sure why this is in Detroit. Should be in Philly…read more Because it's always Sunny Massage in Philadelphia. This is a cute little massage shop that is right next to The Jamaican Pot which is an amazing place to get Jamaican barbecue right on 8 Mile Road. Located in a plaza with a liquor store and a closed-down stripclub across the side street and a rims accessories car shop as well. So it's pretty cool little Plaza and this is a cute massage parlor, and the reason we checked it out is because we were waiting for our Jamaican food. Barbie was impressed and she like this little spa and said that she would come back here next time we're in Detroit to get some stuff done maybe. But maybe from her usually means no. Ask most boys that have ever asked her out.

Massage itself was five stars all the way. Opted for half hour since I didn't want to be in neighborhood that long (not-so-good part of 8 mile in a small shopping center strip). The outside makes it hard to really relax inside.

I've driven by this place probably thousands of times since they open 3 years ago. It's on my way in to and from work. I take Southfield road pretty much every day. It caught my eye when it first opened up as I'm a huge fan of thai massage and still remember some of my best massages that I received were all in Thailand. I realize the cost of an hour massage here is about three times more than I would've paid in Thailand though. It's was so dark in the lobby, I thought that Thai herbal massage was closed even though I had an appointment tonight. Someone did come out and to the desk and told me that my therapist would be coming out. She did a minute or so later. No paperwork here. This woman took me to a room, it's much bigger than I would have thought. She asked if I knew what I needed to do and I said yes. I confirmed that she wanted me face down and she said yes. She told me there's a hook on the back of the door for my jacket. She exited and I got ready for my massage. Ka, my massage therapist came and knocked on my room to ask if I was ready. I told her I was. She came in right at the start of my appointment time, nice. Ka put a hot cloth on feet, used it to rub and clean my feet, felt good. She later used other hot cloths for my shoulder, upper chest, arms, legs and back area. Partly for a quick cleaning from the oils and to give a last bit of soothing massage. It felt really comforting and warm and calming. Ka's pressure was great, she mixed up her pressure too, from light touches to much deeper massage work. She would use her fingers, legs, knees, heel of her palm, elbows and knuckles. She stretched me out well too. She was barefooted so she could easily and nimbly move around the bed and work around and sometimes kneeling on top of my legs or back. Don't be worried but this is normal for a Thai massage. Also, they do some glute (yes, your bum) work so be sure to let the therapist know any areas you don't want massaged at all, mine is the head. Not cool with anyone touching my head with greasy fingers and let Ka know, she stayed away from my head the whole hour. This is probably one of the best deep tissue massages I've had outside of Thailand, that's sad, but so true. I will definitely be back. This was truly a deep tissue massage and exactly what I wanted. The stretching was great too. I already wanted to have another massage tomorrow. I was thinking how great it would be to get a massage from Ka every week. That would be so great. Just a follow-up, had a great and deep sleep after my massage last night. I was still so well relaxed by bedtime that I feel asleep. I don't usually sleep through the night normally at all.
