I won't give this a star but did accidentally. I asked for a…read morecontract.. I didn't get one. I asked for confirmation and didn't get one. The crew showed up just as we were leaving for a weekend trip out of town. When I negotiate for a service with a hungry businessman, it's for the service requested with the price negotiated from the estimate given. They left a stump on one tree cut down. They butchered the front yard tree, getting rid if dead one on one side of the tree but not touching the other side. Winter is a dead time for yard work. The tree specialist I talked to for the estimate even admitted they charge more in the summer. We discussed two services. I choose the service with the lesser amount of work and opened negotiation on the price. We reached a verbal deal but I didn't get the written contract I asked for several times. Half the tree is cut and thinned out. It looks worse than before. The work wasn't really needed and was done more to thin out the branches for grass growth. They left dead hanging branches. ]
