We were prompted greeted by Tina and shown around the spa and to our lockers. In the ladies locker room area, there are showers, a sauna, and a steam room. We got there early so we could enjoy the pool and other amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were hotel guests in the pool, including children. That's not all that conducive to relaxing unfortunately so we didn't get in the water at all. Tina also helped us order a lovely lunch from Capitol Grill and took overall very good care of us while we relaxed and waited for our spa appointments. The services: Both of us had nice services but honestly both felt we had had better for various reasons. My esthetician was good and did a very nice job but I had added on a leg scrub. The leg scrub was great but it came At the sacrifice of the hand and wrist massage you might typically get. My friend's service was good but was slow to start and the provider had some clumsiness issues and dropped items on the floor creating loud noises. The only thing that was really "bad" was the temperature of the atrium area/pool and hot tub area. It was HOT in there. It was so warm in there that we just couldn't force ourselves in the hot tub or the sauna/steam room. Tips: 1. there is street parking, which is free on Sundays 2. When you walk in, go closer to the check in desk to the second set of elevators and the spa is on the 6th floor 3. There is cold water and some cold towels in the Gym on the same floor.

The massage session was very relaxing and helped me unwind after a long day. The therapist was…read moreattentive and adjusted the pressure to my needs, especially in the back area. I felt a noticeable improvement afterward. The only small downside was that the room felt slightly cool at times.

As soon as I walked into Julie's suite, she was very welcoming and so friendly. Immediately put me at ease. I truly enjoyed my facial and look forward to going back. She was quite knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The table was comfortable, I enjoyed the gentle heat and the weighted blanket. And my skin feels great!

So relieved I found this spot! She's been in this studio for nine years and therefore has a lot of skincare knowledge. I showed up to my first appointment with a bag full of the products I use. Julie immediately commented that she wasn't thrilled with my moisturizer and that I could be doing better. I instantly knew I'd trust her based on that comment alone. I love someone who can tell me like it is. Cheers to improving. Julie's studio is tucked in the Carmel Office Suites off of Carmel Drive and Keystone. It's located behind the McDonald's on that corner and is a big building that serves as a beauty haven. There are about a hundred different little beauty studios within this building and it's a fun, girly spot to visit. Julie's studio is on the second floor and was spotless, fresh and beautiful. She has one facial studio and one microblading studio - both next to each other. She uses Skinceutical products (which if you're not familiar, are highly-recommended and effective products). I've heard the brand mentioned multiple times from all the celebrity estheticians I follow on Instagram and had been wanting to try them. Julie kept my facial simple by washing it, doing extractions, using a steam machine, using this awesome light tool that zaps bacteria on your face, this awesome gel moisturizer that she said would hydrate my skin much better than my current moisturizer, retinol she had recommended for me (it was an evening appointment so she got my face "ready for bed" - yay!), and more. She also sent me home with a few Skinceutical samples that I'm excited to try. Super excited to go back and use the new products she's recommended for me. If you've never gotten a facial before, I HIGHLY recommend going at least once, because the products you might be using in your daily life could be worsening your skin without you realizing it. When you go, you'll at least know which products will keep longevity in your skin and you can't put a price on that targeted advice, specific and personalized to your skin type.

I was promptly greeted by Steph at the front door and treated to a drink before my facial. It was a one hour facial with a scrub, red light therapy and small extraction. I thoroughly enjoyed the Eminence products and their natural floral smells from start to finish. The entire process was very relaxing and I probably booked another visit for the new year. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing facial spot. They have a variety of other higher ticket items for those who have a better understanding of facials and skin care than I do :-)

I got the Detox & Glow facial, which is customized to your skin needs and recommended as a good place to start. It's 75 minutes long and as relaxing as it is effective. From the heated bed and dark room, to the tingling exfoliation treatment, relaxing LED lights and more, it was a great experience. I especially liked the dermaplane treatment (gets all hairs and dead skin cells off your face with no down time) and LED red light, which I had on my face for 15 minutes. Fun fact: NASA uses LED red light to grow plants in outer space, so imagine how well that helps stimulate collagen on your face! This is a popular spot, so be prepared to book months in advance. They sell and use the Eminence organic skincare line, which is gentle and seems to have pure ingredients. I was given some samples for the road, as well as a hot tea, which was so sweet. Enjoy!
