We really appreciated having the choice of breakfast or lunch at 11 am. The buttermilk pancakes…read morewere fabulous. Tuna melt on house made bread was delicious. If you're in the area, you NEED to stop! Lots of home baked products and home canned products to buy and take with you.

Very relaxed atmosphere with tables and benches, probably built by their children (the small log cabin was built by their kids!). They're open for breakfast and lunch 8am-2pm (closed Tues & Wed). One of my 'go-to's' is their breakfast of 2 eggs (their's ... organic free range), thick slabs of bacon (their's ... home grown & smoked) with hashbrowns (their pototoes) and a huge side of AMAZING apple sauce (their's of course) ... and to top it all off their sour dough bread that is so very special (also sold at the local health food store, along with their fresh herbs and many of their other canned good products). Have Renee list all your options of jam & jellies to spread on your slice of heaven sour dough, mostly unusual ... such as crabapple and rhubarb. Speaking of canned good products ... I just experienced a small taste of their zucchini relish and pickles alongside my sandwich. I couldn't believe it ... and what a gift to be able to purchase their products that elevate a meal with big flavor (canned goods, sweets, spices, jams & jellies, fresh herbs, organic free range eggs ... oh and they have ice, not theirs ... lol). I just don't know how to stop raving about their food, I'm just so thankful to have found them, and I think you will too or I wouldn't be writing this review. Enjoy, and be sure to write a nice review ... we want these people to prosper for all their hard work and commitment to healthy food for us.

Manderson is basically a food desert. When I shopped in Pinky's -- I was looking for some kind of healthy snack -- all I found was industrial commercial packaged junk in packages. There was not any local produce, no fresh produce, nothing "organic" or even remotely healthy. Pinky's is lit up with scary neon flickering lights that is more gift and liquor shop than anything else with at least one drunk standing outside, bellowing at the top of his lungs in the rain. Manderson is on the reservation -- and there are very few businesses there. The town has a very high rate of unemployment so you aren't going see a lot of reviews for this town because people can't afford an iPhone, they don't have phone lines or even water and there isn't even a laundrymat. Pinky's is a shameful waste of people's money and time.

They have had fresh food items. There were no items with expired food dates. They also have a small selection of fresh garden vegetables! There is a small but quaint laundry mat attached to PInky's store. The cost of laundry is very reasonable! It is clean and well maintained. The dryers are excellent. I actually spent less money doing laundry here then when I lived in Rapid City. The cashier is always nice to both me and my husband. There are no gas pumps at this store. It only has three stars because it did not have fresh herbs and a larger variety of cheese.
