I've been to this place three times, only because their location is convenient and they're usually pretty good with walk-in waxes. Every experience seems to get worse and worse, and after my third and final visit I must say that I will definitely not be returning.
On one session for an eye brow was I was told that my "eyebrows grow funny" as they girl proceeded to tell me how uneven my eyebrows were the entire wax. Hello!? That is why I am paying you to fix them!
On my last session, also for an eye brow wax, the girl immediately burned and ripped off my skin on the first strip then proceeded to accuse me for being on acne medication that made my skin sensitive (I'm not). Instead of apologizing, she hastily did the other side, without once asking me what shape I wanted. She didn't trim, pluck or ask me if I liked the shape, instead to continued to borderline yell at me about how horrible my skin is.
And I quote, "You shouldn't be waxing your face at all, what you should be spending your money on is microdermabrasion to fix your acne!" (I do not have acne, more like 1 pimple at the time).
I was practically in tears when she had the nerve to try to sell me 3 microdermabrasion sessions at 100+ pound each and then charged me 14 pound for my hack job eye brow wax. My right eyebrow is STILL scabbed over, bright red and can barely be touched it hurts so bad. So glad I paid 14 pounds for that!!
Seriously, avoid this place at all costs. If I could give it zero stars I would. read more
