Do not go here!!!! Woman is rude and unwelcoming. Firstly they couldnt find my booking but 15 mins later it magically appeared. I had a streaky spray tan which i was made to pay 7 pound extra for (not advertised) in advance!!!. She took me to a massage room which was not set up for my previously booked appointment and put up a pop up tent. A man walked in mid treatment without knocking and neither battered an eyelid at the fact i was starkus! After that she tried to bully me into paying for 8 mins on the sunbed so my streaky tan would dry quicker!!! - baring in mind i am as white as a ghost and told her i just burn and do not tan at all. Absolutely horrible massage. No English spoken. Thai therapist can't do other styles. Unprofessional, untrained, undignified massage. Scratchy horrible cheap towels that aren't even offered I had to help myself to one. Words spoken by therapist included "change clothes" and "finish" - am still suffering from having a small girl walk on me when I ordered a deep tissue. Also charged £60 for the horrible experience. I happened to walk in here out of frustration of another establishment asking if they did threading and was told no, only tweezing and waxing! I thought what the hell let's try tweezing seeing that waxing makes me bleed and swell! The lady that did the tweezing was amazing and so thorough! My eyebrows hadn't been done in weeks due to holidays and not being around so she had a lot to work on lol! She also waxed my upper lip and I had absolutely no reactions at all! I have had 3 massages from Gavon, a Chinese gentleman, who practices at this clinic. I live in the United States and if there was a way that I could convince him to move to the US, I would!! He is an ABSOLUTE MASTER at the art of massage. He does very deep tissue massage and is so wonderful at working on parts of one's body that have long been in pain. He has been a miracle worker for both chronic hip and neck pain. Though there is a bit of a language barrier as I am not a Chinese speaker, his knowledge of anatomy and where to massage to help relieve long standing problems bars none. If I could, I would go to him on a regular basis to keep my body in tune, every few weeks to month. I will go to see him any time I come back to London-he is the best of the best!!! read more

The guy was far too intimate and it was the most uncomfortable experience of my life so far. I would never go back there, and never recommend them!! My friend and I booked a relaxing massage through Groupon, we arrived and were informed that there had been a mistake and it was supposed to be a deep tissue massage and if we wanted one we could pay an extra £15. Which I did because I wanted a good hard massage to get all the knots out! We were seated awkwardly in the entrance and then shown downstairs and told to go into a room where the previous client hadn't even come out yet! Then we discovered that there was only a male and one female masseuse. As both of us are female we wanted 2 female masseuses, we asked for another female masseuse they didn't have one and the receptionist got very unprofessionally angry with my friend. In the end it was an awful deep tissue massage it just felt like she was gently touching me and didn't even touch my neck and head.. As my masseuse finished, and I got up to get ready I realised that the male masseuse was still there massaging my friend.. Which was inappropriate. However, worst massage ever, they told us it is possible to have 60 minutes of a relaxation massage or 30 minutes deep tissue. We choose relaxation and the massage was more like semi-professional. I did something to my neck while traveling in Europe. By the time I got to London, it was so bad that I couldn't even turn my neck. I desperately looked for someone to do acupuncture and came across this clinic. First day, Maggie gave me a very nice deep tissue massage which helped to relieve some of the pain so I can sleep better at night. Second day, I went back to see the Chinese doctor. He gave me combination of acupuncture and massage treatment, which did wonders! I live in Shanghai and I get massages here all the time but I must say both treatments were one of the best I have ever bad. They both know what they are doing. The rooms are basic, no frills but clean and cozy. The therapists are all very friendly. I highly recommend this place. read more

I came for a sunbed and it was filthy rotten and stunk of semen. You would think they would clean them after each use. The wiring was hanging out of the controls.The fan in the ceiling was full of thick dirty dust and hair. The door was hanging off the sunbed. The floor had balls of different peoples hair rolling around the floor. I asked for a refund and she rudely told me "no can do". I really think the sunbeds and other treatments are a cover-up as it seems like its a knocking shop. I should have known from the outside appearance of the place not to go in. Never mind. Worse experience of my life!!! It is with deep regret that I'm writing this feedback about a disgraceful and deplorable event that happened to me on Monday 01st August 2016. My girlfriend purchased a voucher from Wowcher as my birthday gift, however I did not receieved an appropriate massage!!! The masseur was a man and I did not have obviously any problem with that but regrettably I was physically sexual assault by him. First of wall, he did not have the decency to cover my body with the towel, basic thing that evety single place does!!! Then he was massaging very close to the vaginal area and I advised him that I was not feeling comfortable with that but he kept ignoring my request and for 3 times he was touching me so when he was attempting again to touch me I just asked him to stop the session. It was "hilarious" because before leaving the room he actually asked me "Do you want me to leave you my number?", so inappropriate and unrespectful!!! At that point I just wanted to get dressed and leave that room, I was furious!!! I find it deplorable and I wanted to share with everyone my awful experience to avoid that this nasty person will not do again what he did to me!!! Also, when I called to complaint to the management did not seem to be really concerned about what just happened to me, they even refused to give me his name and the only thing they were able to tell me was "Email us and we will investigate further", this is not the right wait to handle this kind of situation!!! Rude staff, I was made to feel an inconvenience when they had messed up the appointments and Maggie was clearly cross at having to see me when she wasn't expecting to. She was really grumpy. Dirty premises. Manicure the worst I've ever had - really messy, had chipped before I even left and by the time I got home, had a chip on every nail! AWFUL EXPERIENCE! The worse beautician ever ! I booked a Wowcher waxing. Arrived 40 minutes early. Went to the shop - it was closed with a handwritten note saying 'Apologies for inconvenience, back by 2:30pm' my appointment was for 2pm. I rang the bell and no one answered. I left and called both mobile numbers from the note. A woman answered telling me to she was the only one in the salon and to return just before 2pm, which I did. I rang the bell again because the shop was locked. A South East Asian woman came to the door angry, telling me 'why you keep ringing the bell? can't you read the sign?' I was surprised and taken back by her rude and offensive approach - no apology, nothing, I tried to explain to her the time of my appointment, she interrupted me pointing at a curtained off room that I should 'go in there and get undressed. When I started to take off my jeans, she entered the room saying; 'I don't think I'm going to do this, because you look like trouble, you will take the treatment and complain for refund afterwards.' I could not believe what I was hearing! I told her that I had come from South London, that I am a very busy woman and I would appreciate it if she simply did my waxing so that I can leave. She repeated her accusations twice, then tried to get me to agree not to complain. I just sat quietly on the bed, half dressed in disbelief! She then said; 'I'n not going to do this, call Wowcher and get your money back!' By then I had had enough and would have argued with her, but I was so upset nad hurt by her offensive behaviour towards me. I got dressed. she took my Wowher coupon to the front desk and then proceeded to call Wowcher quoting the booking reference and asking for a refund!! I told her to give me my Wowcher coupon so can get out of the shop as quickly as possible. I would not recomment Tantalizing Spa to anyone, leave well alone.
