It's locally sourced ingredients, and the chef creates the dishes based on the season's vegetables. There's also various local organic cheeses you can buy. We had several types of dishes: the artichoke and carrot lasagne, the herb and spinach balls, the spinach quiche, and freshly squeezed juices with different vegetables and fruits. Need a drink, a snack, some pesto or pasta to bring back home, this is the place to shop. Nice to be able to pick up very local spices, small jars of jams and honey, pesto and bags of small cookies. They carry sized that are airplane compliant. Make sure to bring a bag if you have one. Or you can purchase a shopping bag there. Prices are very reasonable. A bottle of cold Pellegrino was just €.50. So refreshing on a hot summer day. Or you can fill up your water bottle at the water fountains in Rome. The water is safe to drink.
