I booked a 90 minute massage with Katarina and ever since she has completely changed my life. I now have full mobility in my shoulders after my doctor told me I would never be able to use my arm the same again. I want to praise and thank Katarina and Advanced Massage for all the hard work they put in for every client they see. If it wasn't for my therapist Katarina I don't know where I would be today.

I came to Advanced…read moreMassage Corydon after moving too far away from my previous massage clinic and to say that the experience was great is a bit of an understatement. The location is nice, the customer service was outstanding, and the massage itself was very helpful. The therapist I saw made sure that everything was comfortable, gave her recommendations with explanations as to why she was making the recommendations and they made sure to get me out on time for the appointment I had afterwards. The only complaint I have is that you can hear the exercise classes of the gym next door which does take away from the relaxing nature of the experience. However, it is intermittent and you can often avoid it by not going in the early morning or late evening.

However, if I were only reviewing the massage therapist, Karla, I would add stars. She's worthy of 10 stars. She's incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and quite strong. I'm a fan of deep tissue and when you first visit a place you haven't been to you really don't know what you're going to get. She far surpassed my expectations. I already scheduled another massage with her. I highly recommend Karla!

Nicole is a wonderful massage therapist, and I believe she needs to get paid if a client cancels…read morelate. However, this company's online system does not work. I cancelled 23 hours previous, and the day of my appointment, it still showed me as booked. The page says that only 8 hours notice is required. I phoned twice, and the phone just rang through with no voicemail. The owner Mike Booth called me a liar. He spouted irrational nonsense about how the site might say 8 hours notice for cancellation, but it's "actually" 24. He called me a liar several times, and blamed the dysfunction on their 3rd party calling system----but still made it my fault. I did not have my caller i.d. on when I phoned, so apparently this makes me a liar. Ironically, Booth had his caller i.d. off as well. Again, I believe the therapist should not have to suffer for the company's dysfunction. But being abused and gaslighted as a client is not okay. Massage Athletica lost a client and made an enemy by their crazymaking and abusive response. This is not okay for any business, but for one that practices the healing arts, it is completely contrary to what they stand for. I also had to nag them to send receipts each time I visited, so that should have been a red flag. I hope Nicole reads this. I worked as a contractor for a company like this, and lost clients and income because of the admin's behaviour. I hope she finds somewhere more respectful.
