These pathetic cuttings lack sufficient roots--and do not resemble the photo on the website.

I should have read the other reviews before ordering. The picture of the partridge berry on the website showed one thing--a healthy clump. This is not what I received. What I received were small clippings, many without roots. Each order was a thin and tiny clipping that is not viable. You can get 3 for $14.97! Basically $5 bucks for a pathetic clipping that won't survive immediate planting. See photos. I alerted their customer service who said they do not provide refunds. They asked for photos. I sent them. And no response. Please beware!

I was of two minds to write this. But I finally decided to let others know how Native Wildflowers did not meet even basic standards of acceptable customer service. Here's what happened: -- On January 4, I ordered 5 white violet plants. The site listing said I would receive BULBS. OK, so far so good. -- In late February, I received a zip lock bag containing a mess of dried, tangled roots (no bulbs). No instructions, just dried, tangled roots. -- On March 2, I emailed Native Wildflowers to say I was confused because there were no instructions and no bulbs -- just roots. I asked, "What do I do with them? Do I just pull them apart? Do they go in the ground, or first in pots? Do the roots have an upside? Or a downside? If so, how do I tell the difference? Very confusing." -- They emailed me back, asking me to send a photo, which I immediately did. See below. -- Radio silence from Native Wildflowers. -- Then I received an automated request from them asking me to write a review (but no mention of the dried out roots or what to do with them). -- Over a week later, I re-contacted them. Here's what I said, verbatim: "It's been over a week since I contacted you about the mystery packet I received from you. According to your web site, I was to receive white violet bulbs. The attached photos, sent last week, show what I actually received. I don't know what to do with what you sent because no instructions of any kind were included with my order, nor did you reply to my email inquiry. I have found another provider for white violets. Based on the level of customer service you have provided, I no longer want to do business with Native Wildflowers. I'm disappointed because I buy a lot of plants online and have never experienced this kind of lapse in customer service. Please refund my money and let me know if you want me to return whatever it is you sent me. If so, please send me a label, as I should not be held responsible for the cost of return shipping. I find it curious that you sent me a link to provide feedback for my experience with Native Wildflowers. Really? Based on this experience, I'm surprised that you want me to write a review (although I did look on yelp and see that the three reviews you do have are abysmal). Please refund my money, including shipping, today." -- The same day, they sent me an email saying they would not refund my money due to the fact that they refund money only if they made a mistake (sending mystery roots with no instructions instead of the promised bulbs isn't a mistake?) or if they sent dead plants. If I wanted, they said, I could return the roots at my expense, and they would issue a credit -- but no refund. OK, Native Wildflowers, you won't refund my $27.17. You won't even send me instructions. I haven't decided if I will contact my credit card company yet. But I am going to post this one-star review.

I have absolutely no doubt that these pathetic little plants were still seeds at the time I ordered them, and were only started afterward!

Pathetic little dried out bare root plants. Maybe a 10% success rate. Tried a couple different orders hoping for something good.
