Nationwide Settlement Solutions is a rip off. Save your money and do not do any business with this company. We attended their seminar, realized that all they do to resolve the Timeshare sell is to contact a title company. Once I realized this, and I did not receive services that I paid for, I contacted the title company myself. I simply worked with the title company to finalize the sell of my timeshare. That was after I wrote letters, called the company seven times, and to my chagrin was never offered a solution to getting out of this rip off scheme. I attended a presentation that resembles their presentation, A TIMESHARE presentation!! I attended a presentation in San Jose, CA by Nationwide Settlement Solutions (hereafter NSS). After the presentation, attendees were were given the opportunity to further engage NSS to hire them to negotiate a TIME SHARE EXIT. In discussions before signing a contract, I explained that I had engaged another Company (Molletta Law) for the same purpose. Molletta Law did not disclose that a Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) would be required before they could/would begin the process of negotiating an exit from my TimeShare. I informed Molletta Law that I would under no circumstances sign/consent to an LPOA and further requested that all monies tendered as retainer be returned. NSS claimed they could possibly aid in getting the retainer refunded from Molletta Law. I assumed NSS understood I would not sign/consent to a request for an LPOA. I signed the contract believing that an LPOA would not be required. I paid $6800 as a retainer and began submitting documents requested by NSS. About 3 weeks after the process began I received forms in the mail, from a company called Express Closings (their relationship to NSS is not clear) that required me to sign an LPOA and return same. I immediately called NSS and told them that I had told their representative at signing I would not provide an LPOA. NSS did not fully or specifically in the contract disclose that an LPOA would be required, NSS in my opinion made the contract voidable. They disagreed and have not returned the retainer. My next step is to File a suit in Missouri Small Claims Court for $5000 (maximum allowed by Missouri Law). I would not use the NSS for the above stated purpose because if the contract is carefully read, it should be realized that all terms favor NSS at the expense of those it is supposed to help. I should have read the contract more carefully. And if NSS had made a full disclosure in the contract I believe that the contract would not be voidable. read more

I worked for this company briefly (2days), after getting yelled at by several people who sold timeshares 5 to 14 years ago and several who never even owned timeshares I discovered that we were using a recycled DO NOT CALL LIST from Tulsa OK and recalling these people. Upon realizing this I asked a manager why we were doing this and she was unable to answer me so I promptly left not to return. This is unethical, once you are on a DNC list you are to be left alone NOT RECALLED until you break down and submit or get angry and cuss a person out who had no idea this company is a sham. I apologize to the people I called and I no longer work for this company, my top to you is if you don't recognize the number let it go to voicemail and if they don't leave a message it is probably one of these call centers. read more

These people will NOT stop with their unsolicited telemarketing calling, and they keep changing the block of numbers they use (same area code, but they use a lot of different prefixes) to circumvent the call blocking I have in place. If they are willing to violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by continuing to call numbers on the federal Do Not Call list (and even after we have specifically told them not to call us), what other laws are they willing to break? I have made it clear to them, several times, that I will *never* do business with them, and that I specifically did NOT want them to call, yet the calls continue. If I could give negative stars for their illegal telemarketing tactics, I would. Look that their Better Business Bureau complaint resolution; the all involve an 'internal investigation', yet they never admit to any wrongdoing. If I could give a zero I would! This whole thing is a LIE, fraudulent, and completely unethical. I was suckered into this as my family got a cold call (also on the do not call list) and my mother asked me to go to see about getting rid of her timeshare. In April 2014, they took thousands (read - multiple) of dollars UPFRONT and fell all over me assuring me it would get done by the end of the year. Started and completed getting all paperwork done and ready in May 2014. The paperwork was not submitted til October 2014 and they never updated me until MARCH 2015 that the resort (Consolidated Resorts) rejected it and now wanted the 2015 maintenance fees paid or would not transfer. And, this company touted themselves as the EXPERTS, get it done and rid us of that disgusting, shady timeshare company. It is now April 2015 and they seem to be "helpless", did not know it was rejected, and yet all paperwork was submitted with plenty of time. Why did it take so long to submit? Why did they not pressure the timeshare to move it along? Why are they merely passing this back to me when they assured me it would get done - THEY were the experts - 100% success rate or money back guarantee as stated on their website. It is a lie or true as long as you keep shelling out more and more money. They dropped the ball and now want my family to pay more - they should pay whatever the resort wants since they took a bundle from us already and did NOTHING! This service worked for me! I was paying for a timeshare that I did not want or use and had tried to sell and ended up throwing more money away on those attempts. I happened to take a call from this number and thought I'd give Nationwide a chance. I was hesitant, of course, as it was very costly and I had already spent so much trying to get rid of the timeshare. I decided to do it praying that it would work and it wasn't another con. It took 9 months total and I received a letter from my timeshare saying I was no longer owner and I was free and clear. My credit score never went down either. I'm so glad to be free of my monthly payments and HOA payment. The service for Nationwide is costly, but worth it to me to be done with all of this. read more

Well now it's been 9 months and all I am getting is e-mail with promises the pitch they gave us a pitch about lawyers getting involved and sending legal documents to the timeshare was false. It appears they gave my timeshare to and broker to sell. Sumday vacations is trying to sell my property. They told me 3 months ago it was sold and they are waiting for the paperwork to come back. We were pleased with the results that Nationwide was able to provide. We are free of our timeshare and although it took a while the end product was worth the wait. Pricey to lose a timeshare however so was the maintenance fee. We kept in contact with Nationwide. I would like to have had more contact from them. I'll be passing the info to relatives with timeshares. read more

I'm writing the review on behalf of my mom. She is a senior and went to their presentation. She is on social security and lives from month to month. They want seven grand from her to get rid of her time share. It was another high pressure sales pitch just like buying a timeshare. If they are offing a legitimate service why don't they give the price up front? Why do they push you to make a snap decision? The high pressure sales made her feel physically ill. A one star rating it really far too high for this company. They cold called my 85 year old father who is easily confuse and with high pressure scare sales tactics got him to go to one of their "seminars". There the high pressure and scare tactics continued for over 2 hours after which he signed off to have them "solve" his timeshare property issues for nearly $6000.00. When he told me what he had done later that same day, we contacted the company, as per the contract, via email to cancel the deal. This was backed up with a cancel request sent via certified mail. It took 30 days and well over 20 phone calls and messages, none of which where ever returned, to finally reach a live person. After much discussion with "elevated" voices I got put through to a "manager". She told me they always call back and they would get this matter settled soon. I then demand that it be done today and I want an name and direct phone number to call them back. Was told they don't have a separate number for incoming calls and could only call the number that went to the message machine. When told that if the refund was not done that day we would speak with out attorney. Suddenly things changed and were told the refund could be done right away, minus 20% to cover the cost of handling the contract. They had done nothing with the contract as it was cancelled within 24 hours of it being signed. So while this company may have the legal right to do this, I find them to be a highly unethical operation. Do not use this company to settle your timeshare issues. In my opinion they are unethical, unresponsive to customers, and pray on the elderly. read more

There should be a rating for zero!! These people are crooks, complete crooks! We have been disputing this charge on the credit card. Yes, they make you feel welcome, they a friendly just like "salesman's" are. Feed your mind that the timeshares are taking advantage of you. They rope you in make you feel like they will do anything to help you. They manipulate you, your feelings, make you trust them... Absolute crock of crap! After feeling pressured my husband and I did sign. After going home that night which was a Saturday. We were under the impression we had three business days like they told us. My husband started calling Monday numerous times left messages, Tuesday the same thing and then Wednesday of course was the third day. Still no answer and no reply. Finally he got a hold of them one week later. And let me tell you we were not even in the system yet, no processing was done, no transaction was done. No time from anyone. They said they would find our paperwork and call him back. Basically that gave them to run the credit card and process they payment. Not to mention 20% process fee so since they ran the card "processed" the payment we had to pay 20% which let me tell you that's over 1500.00 just to swipe the credit card, after we said we wanted to cancel. These people need looked into. They are preying on the vulnerable. We are so upset with these crooks! Completely! Justice needs to be served! They pray on fear! They tell you that if you do not use them or some legal form to get out of your ownership, the company with garnish your wages, put liens against property, and other such fears. Even if you have written paperwork saying you are already free and clear of your ownership. They insist that to "go over" your contract, you and your spouse MUST be present, and if that is not possible, than there is nothing they can do for you. Apparently if you work, you are supposed to change your schedule to accommodate them. They do not let you get words in edgewise and interrupt at every chance. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

I have never owned a Timeshare. I do not want to own at Timeshare. I have asked this business repeatedly for months (since April of 2015) to leave me alone and stop calling and harassing me. The called 17 times in one week, 15 the next...etc. you get the idea. I am on the Do NOT Call List, but they totally disregard the fact the violate it over and over again. I just got off of a cold call with them. After listening to their pitch for about 10 minutes I told them I needed to research their company before I paid them $30 to "reserve my seat" at their Baltimore area meeting. Once I told them (twice) I wanted to wait until I did my research, the sales rep (Levi Waddell) abruptly called me "dumb" for wanting to wait before I paid them to reserve my seat. Nationwide Settlement Solutions was successful in getting us out of our timeshare obligation. We had a timeshare in Northwest Iowa that was good for our family at first, but we moved away from the area and had used it only once in the last 25 years. Nationwide was able to cancel our deed and we are free and clear. It was a bit expensive, but worth it. No more maintenance fees and property taxes! read more

My wife and I sat in on one of their meeting yesterday along with 5 other couples. This thing from the beginning sounded like the sales pitch scam we had when we got into this time share mess. Then when it came time to the cost. WOW!!! it was 6995.00 and within 5 minitesi the price was down too 2200.00. This company still didn't explain how they were going to get you out of this. When asked what happens to your timeshare after you use thier service. They stated that they" have corproations that want them". We felt like we were in the movie "The Sting" and we were the "mark". When my wife Stated we needed to think about this. The rep stated that it had to be today.That through up a red flag. First, I do not own a time share---have gotten several letters from this company.... Some one is using my address and name to try to get their time share off the market--trying to find that person...Trying to get my name off Nationwide Settlement Solution's calling list, also--3 or 4 calls a day.. Josh at 2:00 PM was rude and talked all over me--demanding information on what time share I owned. Needless to say--he is not a happy employee as the fake comments about working there were funny. Was yelled at, he hung up on me...Onto then next call to their 417-812 65932 number --which is listed at the address of Nationwide Settlement Solutions 1420 S. Enterprise, Missiouri and Leanore--who claims to be the manager...guess that title gives her the right to tell one to "go f***" yourself after calling me a liar and a few other choice words. Now that I at least have the full name of the company I will be reporting the calls to the "do not call list" and possibly an attorney... Am so sorry for the other people that have been scammed by these people. They are rude, crude and very expensive. read more

We were contacted by Nationwide Transfer (NT) and although they were kind and appeared legitimate we are now having issues with them and our home resort. We paid the money and were subsequently contacted by Sumday Vacations which we presume they are one in the same. Our home resort has recently offered a quit claim deed for a whole bunch less money and now NT will not reverse our contract and gives no advice on how to handle this very uncomfortable situation. interestingly when we went to the buy out meeting NT said they had great reviews on the BBB and here on Yelp at least that's what Josh Smyth told us. We just need help from constantly being victimized by corporate thieves. We will update when we get some rsesolution. read more

Would give zero stars if that was an option. A signed up with Nationwide Settlement Solutions to get out of my timeshare on August 19, 2017. Was told on the phone that they price match the other companies but that was a crock. After showing them an offer from another firm I was told "we can't match that" but since they were in state I decided to pony up the extra money. My mistake. Was also told that they could get the timeshare company to take back the unit in four to six months. Never happened. I never heard from NSS unless I intitiated contact. In March 2018 (roughly 7 months after signing) I called to update phone number and check on the status of my un it and was told my paperwork was in their Title department. After hearing nothing through summer I once again had to reach out to them on August 2018 and was told "you never filled out your paperwork we sent" but I had never received. So after a year plus they sent me paperwork from some third party timeshare sales company, which I would not sign. That was two months ago and I have not heard any follow-up or reminders to send in the paperwork. Now after asking for a refund and cancellation 14 months after signing up due to lack of performance on NSS's part I was informed it was my fault. In the same email a rep named Breanna telling me that they have made repeated attempts to contact me and I am at fault. Really?? I never got a call showing NSS on the Caller ID. I did not receive any correspondence until September afer I inquired about the status of my contract. Going to try to go through my credit card company. These guys are just like the time share presenters only their pitch is to get out of your unit. Stay away! read more

Dealing with these people was one of the biggest mistakes of my life! I went to a presentation because I was not getting the use out of my timeshare that I was paying for. At the presentation, I was subjected to a high pressure sales pitch with false claims and inflated numbers and outright lies that made their product sound okay. It was a time share pitch in reverse. The prices they are charging for doing practically NOTHING is obscene: $6000 to $8000! To add insult to injury, they do not even do the transfer work. It is farmed out to a closing company who then charges you more fees, and the closing company hires yet another 'escrow' company that, you guessed it, charges MORE fees. To the shock of the manger of my home timeshare, the escrow company requires you to pay them your maintenance fees for the the next year (after you supposed don't own it any more). According to the manager at my time share Nationwide then sells or 'gifts' the property to others who simply don't pay the maintenance fees, thus hurting the other owners. According to the salesman, these 'others' are offshore entities (and probably not bound by law to pay). When I asked about this, the Nationwide stated that it was legal because they had been in business for 8 years and were still doing it. Legal is not the same as ethical. read more
