Awful service...weekly pick up should be Friday....never showed..Sat it snowed they pulled all their trucks without informing customers...even though mail and Amazon deliveries were made that day...Monday,,,no show....Tues finally showed....when I asked for a credit for the week they never showed I was told No...we eventually showed up...this after a holiday with so much trash needing to be collected... Was a long time customer. We had a lot of garbage due to furniture delivery. So I asked them to increase my service to 2x a week and take a little by little. We would not be home for 2 weeks so it could get picked up slowly. Anyway they then charged me extra for picking it up even though they said they got the email. Zero accountability on damage they caused and the run around for 5 Months!! Their driver jumped my curb and drove up half off the edge up my paver lined driveway. This crushed the support and dislodged a large portion of my NEW paver apron. It has now been 5 months of weekly phone calls, emails, texts with included photos of damage... when they finally did send someone to take a look (3 months after the damage occurred,) I was asked to just get an estimate for repair on my own and they would pay for it. I obtained that estimate the very same day and supplied it to them. If I had not been calling them literally every week, there would've been zero communication on their part. They then claimed the estimate was a little high ($875) and they would just have their mason fix it. Next, they claimed they had to hire a new mason. So now here we are 5 months later of being told that they were going to fix it and constant excuses. Just a full on, unnecessary run-around, with zero respect for myself or my time; and they FINALLY admitted they have no intention of fixing it and blame the damage on the install of my LESS THAN ONE YEAR OLD PAVERS. CARL (the employee in charge of dealing with damage complaints) is the most unreliable, disingenuous, phony bologna, POS I have ever had to deal with on a customer service level. UNSAFE DRIVERS!!!! I was almost KILLED on my commute to work today at approx 855AM on Middle Rd in Riverhead when the drivers of one of their garbage trucks went in reverse WITHOUT checking for cars behind them!! Thank God I floored it into reverse myself in time as their truck came within a foot of my car and did NOT stop! My daughter would have been an orphan today. TRAIN YOUR DRIVERS TO BE SAFE DRIVERS!!! They ended their contract with Smithtown to do refuse and recycling collection at the end of 2020, without public knowledge. So on December 31, 2020, they decided not to pick up trash in Kings Park. Everyone put out their garbage and nothing was picked up. Total scumbags. I am so angry I gave them a tip this year. read more

Apparently this trash pick up service doesnt actually pick up trash it just plays that part on tv. Waiting over a week for pick up is not uncommon for this company. Calls to office gets you a "let me call the truck" and no response after that.... read more

No respect!!! This company comes to pick up dumpsters between 5-6am. I have called to ask them nicely to stop coming so early. They have not listened. Town code even states they are not allowed to make such noise that early. read more

This firm is irresponsible and unethical. One of their drivers drove his truck onto our property through a gate that the truck couldn't fit through. As a result the gates were ripped off the hinges. Tom the manager denied all liability, claimed the gates closed on the truck and broke off. I have pictures to show the damage if anyone is interested. Tom would only refer me to HIS insurance carrier who of course denied responsibility (they claimed that they couldn't complete their investigation because we didn't complete their paperwork and had the gate fixed before they could inspect the damage). And of course no apologies, it's all your fault, all CYA all day long. So if you have a problem, expect to get shafted by this company. Recommend you use Mickey's Carting. read more
