I love movies!! If I miss one, at the theater this is my "go to" in Ouachita Parish. I appreciate the knowledgeable sales staff and the owner, who is usually on site. National Video is ahead of Red Box in releases and with the increases of prices by Red Box, no more standingI out in the weather, trying to shield the screen for glare, for me!!! I will no longer rent from National Video in West Monroe! They have very poor customer service for a locally owned business. We dropped off an empty case the day before we left for a 10 day vacation. The store called me to tell me the situation and I asked to have manager/owner call me. The next day the employee called again and I told her that I was waiting on manager/owner to call me. She told me the owner said there was no reason for them to call me. I'm not upset about the fee, but I am upset about the owner not willing to call a customer. Okay let me start by saying I'm a very reasonable guy and I never post or Yelp anything but this guy is just begging for a Yelp. So I returned the movie on time and was charged a late fee of which I paid because I thought maybe it was my error. The second time I made a physical note of when I returned the movie and was charged a three day late fee for which I asked for just a simple store credit not a refund to which I was politely shown the door with the have a nice day sir as to say you can join all the other suckers that I've ripped off. I hope this guy ends up in the Blockbuster Boneyard where he deserves be. read more

WOW, I cannot believe a Video Store is still around here in this area for my family to enjoy and experience. I really hate to see that a lot of them have closed and robbed good wholesome families like mine of this wonderful experience we get to do as a family. What a GREAT place! My kids love it for the Video Games and we love it for the massive selection of movies they have. I have never been into a video store that has the selection that these folks have. Incredible at the selection of movies they keep on the shelves. I hope they are around for many more years to come because I LOVE this store and I am sure I am not alone.
