I had a great time visiting Duck Commander in West Monroe! Having grown up watching Duck Dynasty with my family, it was really cool getting to learn more about the history of the company and the Robertson family. The staff were so friendly and immediately made us feel welcomed. The tour price is very reasonable--especially considering it includes a free duck call! Being able to explore at your own pace made for a relaxed experience, and standing right there seeing the warehouse where so many classic TV moments happened was awesome. They also have a really neat gift shop stocked with great merchandise. If you're a fan of the show, you will definitely enjoy checking this spot out! read more

We HAD to stop our way through! We have watched the show and followed Sadie's journey. Willie has been at our church a few times, we love the Robertson fam jam. The young associate manning the front desk today was on her phone and didn't acknowledge us until my husband walked right up to the desk to buy tickets. She said tour didn't start until til 3 (it was ten minutes til), so he assumed he had to wait to pay when she said nothing further. When it was three minutes past he decided to ask again and she exclaimed she was waiting on him (we had no idea what we were waiting for!). Anyway, the tour is great! It was very cool to see pieces from the tv show and Sadie's costumes from a few dances on DWTS. We laughed when we saw the carved wooden statue of Willie (remembering the episode and how it went down!). At the end of the tour it has a few plaques writing about the new movie "The Blind" that came out last month. We got a Duck Picker duck call (for mallard hens) with our paid tickets and it can be taken apart to clean after blowing on it time and time again. I didn't go in person, but I had an AMAZING customer service experience with getting 40 teal hen calls shipped! I called about a month before my duck hunting-themed baby shower; I was a HUGE fan of Duck Dynasty as a little girl (even dressed up as Uncle Si for Halloween when I was 8!) and knew my theme wouldn't be complete without some Duck Commander calls! I had a smaller budget, but Mr. Michael McVay was able to help me out! He recommended which calls to use and helped me out with pricing, I'm especially thankful for his guidance with shipping since I felt like I reached out sort of late to get them shipped in time for the shower! I never had to wait long for a response and every interaction was kind! This was a must stop for us because we loved the Duck Dynasty show and all the family stands for! Was disappointed the tour which was self guided cost $20 a person. There were four of us so we couldn't afford that. It does come with a $20 duck call you get to make yourself but none of us hunt. Wish there had been an option to do the tour for $5-$10 without the duck call. Shopped in the gift shop and enjoyed looking around. Staff was nice! read more

They seemed keen on getting customers to take their $20 tour which we declined to do. O stars! We pre purchased museum tickets online and received a confirmation. When we arrived after driving 4 1/2 hours they had a handwritten sign on the door that they closed early. This is very disappointing that they could not communicate via email or phone which they had from the purchase. So we ended up spending 9 hours in the car and not seeing anything but the outside. What a kick this was! Hubby & I tjhurghly enjoyed our 2 hours here! The last tour is at 3:30, they close at 5. Our tour was for 3, but none after us. There was a huge group of loud kids in our group that we let rush ahead of us. That was the BEST plan as they all rushed, we took our time and had the place to our selves. The warehouse seen in the show is now a huge maze type exhibit. We each were given a pink duck call and along the way you will be shown (video) how to put it together. TAKE your TIME! There is so much to see here, being self -guided you have the chance to hear certain videos (all through the tour) on repeat. MILITARY SERVICE? Show ID and get the tour for only $10 bucks! We (being retired Navy) enjoyed so much the pictures and stories from Uncle Si ! Did you know he does a podcast there in building 3 days a week? You may see him one day. The history and stories of the family members were wonderful. We never knew all the various involvements they have/had. It is a true, and sometimes sad, true events of the family. How can you not at least be a little curious if you've ever watched the show. Here for a short business trip I thought it might be fun to stop by and check this place out if only because it exist. We stopped in around lunch time and found the outside under construction so we parked in the lot just off the side street and hiked over to the side entrance. It was pretty much what you see on the show nothing fancy here and it's pretty laid back like it's depicted on the show, small lobby with a very friendly receptionist a hallway lined with the old offices but no family members onsite that we could see. We toured the store and made a few purchases and just kinda hung out for awhile. There's really not much here especially if you have no knowledge of the show. It's little more than a roadside attraction but I'm glad I stopped by only if to say I did. read more

I never got into the show but my sister and nephew are a huge fan. I was told not to come home emptying handed without a souvenir lol...The museum is near my hotel. I've read the reviews that it cost so much to see but I only paid $20 and at the end of the self tour, you get to choose a gift bag from three bend and a duck whistle that you get to put together during your tour. It was worth the money for the tour because you get to see the beginning before the show made them famous, family life, businesses and to having one of the family going on Dancing with the Stars. Before you head on the tour, you will enter the gift shop that as T shirt , shot glass, pots and pans, socks, caps, DVDs, cookbooks and many great gifts souvenir. I don't really want to rate Duck Commander down, but this rating is mostly for informational purpose at this time (visited yesterday). Based on all the wonderful pictures folks have posted in the past, the Duck Commander store that is famously seen on Duck Dynasty looks like it is currently providing only a fraction of the usual fanfare and ability to roam. Totally understandable with the pandemic craziness. When you enter, there's maybe only a quarter to 1/5th of what you can normally access. They're supporting the whole social distancing thing, but it's really an honor system. I did overhear Willie & Korie had stopped by earlier since they still run the business (to which one of the other tourists told her husband, "You made me miss 'em!")... so I'm glad that there wasn't some corporate takeover by A&E. I ended up getting some T-Shirts (amazingly soft), a OD green/black hat, and Si-cology 101 - they also threw in some free temporary tattoos of Bible verses (my Christian side appreciates this). The Bible verses made me change the 3 star review into a 4 star review. I wouldn't drive hours out of the way to come - at least not right now - but if you're in town like I was and had free time to kill... go stop by. Just make sure you've readjusted your expectations... I'm sure they place would be more interactive with visitors/fans if health hazards weren't an issue. read more

We decided to visit while we were in the area for a visit. We loved the show, and thought it would be fun to check it out. It's basically a souvenir shop and they also offer tours. They have quite a few collectibles, t-shirts, etc., even some at pretty reasonable prices. There are also some duck calls thrown in for good measure. If you check in on YELP you can get a free souvenir Si Tea cup. That was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a bit disappointed though at the price of the tours. We'd planned to take a tour, but at $20 per adult, we found it to be a bit high for what we expected it to be. We've done tours of other locations for shows for A&E (Pawn Stars, Counting Cars, Rick's Restorations, etc.) and the prices for those, including the tour guide and bus ride were less per stop. If the price was more in the $12 to even $15 range, we may have done the tour. $40 for two adults was a bit high. That's the only reason I'm giving it only a 3-star rating. It's worth a stop if you want to see some memorabilia, and get a few souvenirs. Just be prepared for $20 a head for adults for the tour. read more

How is this place still open? I really hate to give this one star review as I leave those for the worst of the worst, but this place was as dead as could be one recent evening. We stopped by one evening as we were traveling through. No tours at that time, which is fine, probably would have not done it anyways for the price. So we stopped to take pictures at the sign and check out the store. Unfortunately it was getting dark, so we had to use our flash on the camera to make it come out as they did not put outside lighting on or around the sign. Why wouldn't you if it is so much part of the building and show?? Inside the store, there wasn't anyone besides a couple workers talking. No acknowledgement to coming in or going - no friendliness. Checked out what seemed like a large space with not much variety of items. As soon as we were getting in the car, the employees looked outside and saw no one else and locked up shop. So be prepared, they may just randomly close early. I understand why as it was just us, but it was not closing time and some people could still come only to find out it had closed an hour early. We left and continued on our journey. Loved watching the show and still watch reruns, but I don't see the advantage of this place in the off season. read more

We are huge fans of the show and needed to make a stop here during our visit to New Orleans. When we first walked in we were offered a green screen photo op. $20 for 2 photos. You can also email a copy of your photos too (included in the cost). Its not so visibly advertised but for $20 a person they offer a tour of the warehouse and duck call room. During our tour, we met Jay Stone (son- in-law of Alan) who was making duck calls. We also made our own duck calls. With admission we got to keep the duck calls, choose a bobble head, and choose a hat (either adult size or kid size). Kids under 6 enter for free but if the kids want to make their own duck call then admission is $20 per kid. The warehouse has lots of merchandise but I was bummed they didnt have a t-shirt in my size. When I asked the employees there about other sizes, I was repeatedly told that the sizes on the racks were all they had. What they didn't know was that I had seen parts of the warehouse that stored the t-shirts (during the duck call tour) and I knew other sizes were available. I wasn't sure why no one was willing to help me locate my size. Don't they want to sell more stuff to get rid of their inventory? The t-shirts here (that are mostly too small or too large) had cool designs. The drawings were done by Mojo. We had stopped by Mojo's actual store to see if we could find other cool t-shirts but the ones at Duck Commander were way cooler. They had some items on sale. We got a good deal on some t-shirts which were only $5. There were other cool items for purchase such as cookware, cups, CDs, duck calls, wireless keyboards, wireless mouse, books, home decor, spices, salsa, sauces, candles, loofahs, wristbands, paddle boat, paddles, children's guitars, bandanas, wall decorations, etc. Definitely check this place out and do the duck tour if you can. The back of the duck tour ticket gives you $2 off a snowball at John Luke and Willie's Ice Cabin which is located on the opposite side of the warehouse. The place loses a star because we felt the employees here were not very friendly (except for the photo people--they were friendly!) P.S. I am a fan of the show, and I am a fan of the store. I am not a fan of going there and there are no actors there to see me. HA HA! :) We had fun - lots of stuff to look at, lots of fun gadgets and apparel. I want to return and spend a few days in Monroe/West Monroe, so I can check out the area a little more. There are things on sale - I found a couple shirts for $7.99 and $9.99, as well as a poster for $5.99. Very reasonable. As part of Uncle Si the Christmas elf event we were able to take a tour of the warehouse the duck call room, the conference room where the guys ate donuts when Willies Office assistant was planning a meeting, played basketball at their hoop in the warehouse and toured Willies awesome office all I can say is it was wonderful! We also went to the Whites Ferry Rd., Church of Christ on Sunday and met Al, Jase, Missy, Jep and Jessica, River, mountain man, saw Godwin and Phil taught our Sunday school class it was fantastic. We also went to Haskell's donuts and met Godwins sister and brother-in-law who own the shop. The donuts are great. They make a wonderful apple fritter that's big enough for three people to eat. My only disappointment is I was not able to see Miss Kay she and the girls for another church that Sunday. It was a fabulous weekend for sure. read more

What can I say......it's Duck Dynasty (Duck Commander Warehouse) at its best. I stopped here last summer and the gift shop was very plain. They did a great remodel and it is simply outstanding! I am a huge fan of this show as well as the family. America's Honest Christian Family! There are several selections to chose from for adults & kids alike. Such a great place to visit and worth every moment of your time. Don't forget to go to Willies Duck Diner just around the corner! There is also Willies Watering Hole across the street. My review is really mixed. The manager was extremely rude and unfriendly and clearly doesn't know about the "free cup" offer if you check in on Yelp. Which wasn't a big deal but she didn't have to be rude about it. The cashier on the other had was a young gentlemen. Very friendly and apologetic for his boss. I told him it wasn't his fault and not worry I would just pay for it. It was $1 not a big deal. He replied with "I want to honor the Yelp deal, I just had haven't had someone use it before so don't know to write it off. They've been in business for over 40 years selling duck calls in my home town. This headquarters is literally just down the street from where I grew up. Phil Robertson is the founder of the company and gave up his football career as the QB at La Tech and let Terry Bradshaw take the reins so he could go hunting full time and make duck calls. This family are the stars of the hit reality show on A&E called Duck Dynasty. They are authentic, real people and are exactly as you see them on the show. I have to say that I was a little shocked when I turned the corner and saw the throngs of people and cars that have descended on this place! Also, a little disappointed as I suppose that in my head I was envisioning it being a sleepy little place as it is shown on the show. I'm happy for the Robertson's and their popularity, however. It seems that they are doing what they can to make themselves available to the fans. Apparently the cast members rotate on shifts where they meet and greet folks, with a pretty long line waiting to say hello and have a photo taken and/or a shirt or other bit of memorabilia signed. If you are lucky, you might meet Si, Willie or Phil as others have stated in their reviews. I'm not sure how long they can keep up the meeting and greeting, however! It must be exhausting. There is a small shop that sells mostly t-shirts and other memorabilia. The line for the register was quite long as well. In my head, I pictured them having more of a sportsmen's shop with duck calls and all that. I didn't look too hard to see if they sold duck calls there. The focus was clearly on the memorabilia. Of course, that is the stuff these visiting people want to buy anyway. It is so busy that there are police out in the street directing traffic. The poor folks who live in the houses right there are probably not thrilled with the situation. I'm sure that the city and/or the Duck Commander folks are going to have to do something to relocate either the warehouse or the folks who live on the street -- or something else. It is very clear that the state and city are very eager to capitalize on the popularity of the show so they will undoubtedly be accommodated somehow or another. read more

If you love the show... and you're in Monroe... there's only one place to go... Seriously, we were passing through town, and could not help but stop and get our picture made in front of the famous "Duck Commander" sign. Place looks just like it does on the show, with one pretty noticeable addition. They've added a store right in the middle of the warehouse. They do not give tours of the warehouse, or the assembly space that you see on the show, which is understandable. The store has a nice friendly feel to it, and is awash in all things Duck/Buck Commander. Shirts, hats, toys, coffee cups, mugs, keychains, you name it... you can get it. But they also sell gear for hunters. They carry a large assortment of duck/turkey calls, Yeti coolers, and a lot of other items in the store similar to that. Major props to the Duck guys for keeping the prices low in the store. Most shirts were $10, some were $5, and the most expensive was $20. Even the duck calls were priced well. We went to Duck Commander as part of the Duck Dynasty tour and loved it. We were looking around and it turned out Si was to be there that day to meet. We got there around 9am, and shopped around about an hour before finding out Si was to be there. So around 10, we stood in line for 2 hours to meet Si and it was well worth it. The only down on that was you couldn't pose with him, pictures of him only- not with him. My boyfriends son was very excited since when he got to Si, Si talked to him for a minute- it was really cool! We bought quite a few cool things for us and a few for relatives and friends in California and the prices were very affordable. Staff was great as well. read more
