Visited Murphy's Ammo this afternoon & found some really interesting RWS .22LR ammo that I haven't seen before. This is a cool shop where James (and the owner, David) are happy to help. When James heard I was from out of town (California), he was super happy to show off the assault rifle & shoot the breeze. He mentioned there's some rifles he'd be able to send out & make them CA legal once I settled on a FFL back home. This is the kind of gun shop that I was used to growing up, before the mega-stores took over. They have every caliber of ammo you need, including several brands I hadn't seen before but look promising from the ballistic results. Plenty of hand guns, long guns, more ammo, shooting gear, magazine loaders, optics, and three gents willing and able to help you get what you want. The proprietor assured me that they can also ship whatever i wanted to my house. I'm going to shoot a bit more of the Geco ammo, and if it works well I'll be ordering from them. read more
