Legends Radio constructive Review I was a subscriber and…read morelisted for many years; but of late the air time for music has changed along with the advertising. I think it is now 60-40 in favors of ads. But more disturbing is the promotion of media schooling in-lieu-of a college equation. This is disingenuous to encourage people who might go to college to seek a lesser career. Working in the media field is very competitive and few really achieve stardom. The ads are repetitive with the very same wording time and again, examples are: Hector's Car Wash; Blackthorn; Pelican Café; The Friendly Home Buyer; Kravis Center; Nobel Shoes; Court Yard Gardens; etc. The streaming list is respective too, the same songs keep repeating; very few musical numbers are represented. In this time of making America Great, The Great American Song Book should be leading the way.

I try to inject something new and different into my radio choices and this afternoon, my "skip"…read morebutton brought me to Legends Radio. I nearly moved on, but opted to stick with it. Classic music filtered through my speakers and it was an enjoyable variety. Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli (wow, when was the last time I heard her sing?), Tony Bennett, Michael Bublé, and even the Velvet Fog himself, Mel Torme. Classic crooners and beautiful music with no shouting, no bad words and limited commercials. It was a nice pause from my usual tunes. [Review 14583 overall, 82 of 2021, number 1202 in Florida.]
