I contacted AAA when my tire came off and damaged my fender. The first company came out and refused to tow my car unless it went to his friend's shop. They wouldn't tow to my house. AAA then sent out Nathan's tow. The two tow truck drivers lifted my car, made sure my suspension was safe, put my spare on and I drove away. Nathan's went above and beyond. I also struggle with agoraphobia and anxiety. I unfortunately had a crying spell and a minor episode. The tow truck drivers kept me calm and I felt safe. I really appreciate these guys and this company. Subsequently a week later, my Maserati overheated. Nathan's was sent again and I received A+ service. Thank you again! read more

Very helpful via AAA. Lorenzo was driver and he was beyond helpful and friendly. My car broke down in Ralph's parking lot in marina del Rey. My key ignition wouldnt turn. First night he came around midnight but I missed him while I was waiting in Ralph's. Second night around 11:30pm we connected. The way my car was parked he said he wouldn't be able to help me and to call another tow company. He then managed to get my car into neutral to turn it around so he could hook it up to his Truck. He went above and beyond with that and got me back to Torrance quickly. He let me know why using aaa at night either doesn't work or takes forever. There is a very limited amount of drivers for the South Bay. Aaa stacks drivers up for the day but uses one company for the whole area at night and they get so many calls they can't possible keep up with. Anyway, good info to know about aaa because I waited the first night until 2:30 am and then had to call a $50 Uber to go home leaving my car in the grocery parking lot. Nope, they was vendered through AAA to tow my car to the autobody shop. They said they'd have a person at my house in 45 minutes. Waited 3 hours, I tried calling, AAA tried calling. No one answered and no one ever came to tow the car! Waste of my time! P.S. I've read a few reviews were the customer complained about Nathan's not showing up and the company responding adversely because they feel like how can you review them when they never rendered a service? In the instance where you're a towing company, not rendering service to someone is the same as bad service because when you're vehicles broken down and you're stranded somewhere and you're counting on a company to come tow you and you're waiting hours and they can't be contacted, then they never show- that constitutes as bad service! read more

Two words for this business: Grand Theft. A technician took a photo of my debit card to presumably send to their non-existent, remote office and beginning the very next day, I became the victim of multiple instances of debit card fraud. I was also overcharged by DOUBLE the price the technician quoted me. The losses totaled over $1000. Two words: Grand Theft. This issue must be remedied via a full refund. SCAM!! This company is the absolute worst. My car got towed last night at a charge station in Hermosa. I reviewed the cams from my car and it looks like the security guard unplugged the car then called this shady company to tow my car because he probably gets a kickback from them. They don't answer their phone which clearly goes to a cell phone voicemail (shady) and they tacked on a $85 "gate fee" for someone to open the gate and let me grab my car. They then said they only take zelle or cash (shady, again) which was never told to me when I finally got through to someone over the phone earlier that day. $460 total for a few hours sitting in their lot after I was illegally towed. I call twice due two a tow that was done on a motorcycle. I the guy on the phone his name he said Alex. I asked where the motorcycle was towed from he refused to tell me later changed his story and said the bike was picked up from a crash site. I told him ok I'll pay the fees that based on the invoice I received should be $1800 up to today. Well now he's saying that because it was from a crash that it's actually over $4,000. I asked where is the police report if it was a crash, he said there was none. None of the stories are making sense, his totals aren't making sense. I requested a flatbed tow for my motorcycle, the driver explained he was the "doctor" and knew how to do this so he would handle it! I told me that needed to get the bike on the bed of the truck it was not his job. I explained that at 78 years old I could not push the bike up the 45 deg. angle of the bed and he could not move the truck to a better location so we could use the driveway slope. He handed me the winch hook and said he did not want to be responsible to load the bike so I should do it! At that point and totally frustrate I told him to get lost and I would find someone that was able to tow my bike, which I did. Extraordinarily rude and combative on the phone. Hung up on me twice. Since they were contracted through AAA which has its own problems I was prevented from getting a tow altogether when they refused to do it. But truthfully what I'm upset about is that the phone rep was mean spirited. When you need your car towed, you are usually already having a bad day. This business oozes "we do not care if someone needs help" in every way. They have SO MANY one star reviews and they DO NOT CARE (a "family owned operation" aka whole team who'd have been fired long ago if they weren't family). The phone rep has an attitude and a temper and escalated the interaction. Kind of hilarious that they keep calling customers they screw over "difficult people" If you KEEP meeting difficult people obviously you ARE the difficult person. These are thieves. They wouldn't answer my calls when I showed up for appointments to get my car out of impound. They stated it was appointment only so i made appointments only for them to not be there. They broke ca veh code 22651.07 by charging more than approved rates, towimg more than 10 miles from location, and not having prices posted anywhere on building. They are dirty, they will continue to be dirty, and they will hopefully be noticed and shut down. We dont need businesses to be so corrupt. read more

Horrible! The tow truck driver got mad at me because I told him I was not comfortable texting him a photo of my credit card info, but that he could take the payment when we got to the shop if AAA coverage was not sorted out by then. The tow truck driver actually told me he did me a favor by even showing up, then his dispatcher said they were leaving the car wherever the driver was and hung up on me. he disappeared with my daughters car for over 30 minutes. Meanwhile neither him or the dispatcher would answer the phone for neither us or AAA. It wasn't until after I threatened to report the car stolen that he finally responded and text me a random location saying he left the car with the key inside. Still 25 minutes from the original destination(1/2 way). They never did respond or say more than that. AAA had to send an entirely new company. I just called to get a quote to tow my car from one location to another . I was quoted $100.00 but if I paid cash it would be $80.00 . I told the guy it was more than what I wanted to pay and he told me to "Push it myself" and hung up on me. When I called back my call went to voice mail . Nathan is the one to call if you have towing needs in the LA area. I was stuck in Marina Del Ray and he picked me up within twenty minutes and drove me 20 miles to Harbor City. He was easy to talk to and was extremely helpful. My car was dead and he even helped me get the car into the garage. For $150 it was cheaper and it was much easier to deal with than towing companies I've dealt with in the past. Worst service ever! I Called Kia roadside assistance because my car broke down and my husband was stranded in Los Angeles. I was connected to Nathan's Towing and was told by the dispatcher at Nathan's that they would be there in 45 minutes. I called back after 1 hour and 20 minutes and was told it was going to be an additional 30 minutes because they were busy. When I asked why they told me 45 minutes he said I could cancel if I wanted. I told him that I didn't want to cancel and he told me he was canceling the tow and hung up on me. I was in tears! Lorenzo was so fast and efficient but also very friendly considering how late it was! I had a "donut" in my trunk but had so many random things on top of it.
