Service: friendly, guiding, personalized. Menu: wide ranging and so good sounding on plaid that you don't know what to do, where to start. Which leads back to Service! Then the kicker, VALUE! First time in you have to (and not just because we did!), unless you're in with a group of 4 or more who will share everything with everyone. For 2 diners, $65 each gets you a total of 4-5 apps, typically spreads with the incredible flatbread. Pace yourself -- then 2 full entrees capped with shared dessert. You will be happy, sated and probably leaving with some leftover. And while they will choose for you, any preferences /aversions will be full considered and incorporated or added in à la carte. Creative culinary cocktails and a great little wine list BTG (with assistance if needed) will compliment your meal. Check the Neon sign and take a nightcap or dessert at Secreto, the back patio area. Wide ranging play list and a variety of seating configurations makes it a cozy place to extend the evening. One seating area shares with the open kitchen and the main room allows you a peak inside. Do so to thank Chef and company for a great meal ! Limited bar seating. If you're local or visiting during the week, there's an evening bigger steal with a 3- course tasting menu. You guys rock!!

The ambiance is clean, minimalist, mature with a menu that speaks to a tenured chef. I had the pate charcuterie and the creme brulee. Ill be honest. I was just messing around with the pate. Its a no for me, but. If u like liver cheese loaf, you'll love it. The creme brulee was thick and silky with the signature crunchy top. Happily impressed. I dont like when a restaurant overs does the brulee... umm, mill 4 iron . You'll like this place. The pizza was yummy and the noodle dish was cheesy and creamy.

The last steak and bourbon dinner I had was at my father's birthday dinner back in March…read more The service was incredible per usual and the food did not disappoint. I had a salad and my family members had steak and shrimp that was in essence a reflection of the wholesome nature that steak and bourbon provides you with. We usually try to go to the one downtown but this time we went to the one on the east side for the sake of the reservation. The saxophone player was very talented. Which, made me leave him a cash tip as I love jazz. It is fair to say, that we had a phenomenal experience based on how well we were treated by our server who was a recent transplant from out of state and even the U.S. as she shared her story with us which was very much so moving and compelling. We always have a wonderful time at steak and bourbon together as a family. But, I personally will have to point out that my favorite part of the whole dinner is the live music and the wonderful ambiance that in a way, fosters excitement, and intimacy if the right person or people happen to join you during such a special environment.

My husband likes this place for some strange reason. I will never be back. I'll go to the Qdoba next door before stepping foot in this place ever. Too expensive, horrible service. The problems all started with the hostess. Lighting on the patio- yes you can see your food but I felt like I was being interrogated in a barrack at Stalag 13. Ending with the clientele. Now I know they can't control this. But ..... not my kind. That is all I will say.

This was a…read morecollaborative 7-course dinner with paired wines with both the Indianapolis' Bluebeard restaurant and 610 Magnolia chefs. Unique flavors and preparations artfully presented with wonderful wine pairings. Each course was phenomenal and had over a dozen diners doing the requisite "ooooh" and "ahhhh". However, if I was forced to commit to the standout items for me, it would be: (1) the delectable pork collar that defied comprehension with how it had a sweet crunchy exterior bark yet maintained a moist and tender bite as we dug in, (2) the soft shell stuffed crab on a bed of just perfect mustard greens with a crunchy texture, (3) dessert that mimicked a cloud and included coffee "gummies" and also was paired with a delicious sherry that held its own. I felt like I needed a cigarette after this meal. I don't smoke. It was That Mind Blowing. These collaboration dinners will be held for at least the next 2 months. Very worthwhile as a fine dining experience beyond compare. Service was excellent. Restaurant decor is lovely. Street parking in surrounding area is available. Looking forward to repeating this experience every possible opportunity when available.

They were super accommodating and provided me with an individual table for myself with the consideration of food accommodations. The waiters knew how to explain all the food, and they were prompt with answering any questions. If they did not know the answer to the question they went to the kitchen to ask. Each meal had its own personality. They bought the bright and summer floral notes of the southern cuisine while at the same time bringing a home meal through the Korean cuisine as well. Each meal also had a variety of textures that complemented each other, as well as opposite flavors that checked off each taste, bud. I really appreciate the timing of each food item which allowed me to have a clean pallet coming into the next tasting. This was a wonderful experience and I highly encourage everyone to go :)

There are also picnic tables out front. You get a faint whiff of the grill/smoker upon entering. Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.
